Steffy is the new leading lady on B&B, the older women will eventually go away.

I disagree. Just because Steffy did the right thing once does not make the leading lady. She is a lead character but Brooke is leading lady of The Bold and the Beautiful and will be until she leaves. Stephanie held that position until the character's death. But now it is Brooke.

I agree. Brooke is the leading lady of B&B and will be until she decides to leave the show or it's canceled. Hope and Steffy are very important and the younger generation leads right behind Brooke.
