Steffy in her heart knows Taylor is a better match for Ridge and this damn call doesn't change that. Ridge already said he's not with Taylor because of the phone call so what does it even matter?

But we all know he IS with her because of the call. If he was not with her because of the call, he would have told Brooke he was leaving her because he was in love with Taylor and he could no longer deal with their animosity toward each other's children. If Ridge wanted Taylor, he had no reason at all to go to Brooke in August, confess the MC kiss, and when asked by Brooke...."do you want to be with Taylor now?" he could have said "yes" and not what he said...."no, I only want to be with you,"
