I think they wanted to show viewers that Ridge was not in a hurry to tell Taylor they can finally get married...now why could that be? :whistle

Seemed like he was majorly stalling. Why, I wonder, did he NOT tell Taylor he was doing it in the first place and then didn't go see her immediately after doing it.
