He's starting annulment proceedings so he kinda has ended the marriage. As for the difference between Brooke and Taylor, Brooke only ever got Ridge when Taylor was believed dead otherwise Doc was always his preference until the writers decided to throw 15 years of history down the drain and rewrite stuff. As far as I'm concerned this is the 15 year reset and they're putting things back the way they should've been.

A reset? This is a straight up rebound which is happening because of a manipulation. If Ridge stays with Taylor after the CPS reveal it will be out of pity.

But don't you think the whole lot of them should be more concerned with righting the wrong against Brooke, who is actually 100% innocent? Why would anyone worry about pitying Taylor who was right in the mix, stirring the pot? I have thought Ridge might stay with Taylor out of pity or worry that she will mentally collapse because she is kind of unstable. But now, I think even if he WANTS Taylor more, he is not going to have much choice but to go home to Brooke, if she still wants him. The whole Hamilton Gang is responsible for this mess, and for what was unjustly done to Brooke. How in the world could Ridge even stay amidst the vipers, even if he wants to, and walk around with his head held up? Ridge is as much to blame as the Hamilton Gang. He and Taylor have kept an important secret from Brooke for months. Now Taylor owed Brooke nothing, but Ridge sure as hell did, and I bet that comes back into his thinking too.
