No character in the history of this show has had more intrinsic power than Taylor. Each time they try to kill her off, she is resurrected, and Brooke has never had a more formidable nemesis to contend with. Stephanie, Caroline, Macy, Quinn, Shauna et. al are ultimately footnotes in Brooke's history, but Taylor remains, and will continue to be the ultimate thorn in the SFTV's side.

The recast with Krista Allen and the concerted effort by the writers to portray Taylor in the most glowing light possible since the recast is a testament to the character's supreme and transcendent sway over the show. The character is bigger than any single actress or writer. It would have been so easy for Brad Bell to have her stay dead after 2002, or to never bring her back after her "crimes", but here she is, more fresh than ever!!! :love

The Tridge Family have also taken over the show in the most marvelous way. Steffy is the Co-CEO of Forrester with Ridge. And Thomas is front and center, both as a designer, and as a guy that keeps interacting with every primary member of the cast. By contrast, the so-called 'blood' Forresters like Thorne, Felicia, Kristen, Rick and Bridget are GONE. Taylor's children are the focus, the ones who represent the face of the next generation, and the ones who drive all the stories now.

The Glory of Taylor and the prominence of the Tridge Family over every other family on the show is now ABSOLUTE. Taylor is and will forever be Queen on the show. :-) :-) :-) Even when she was gone, her children Steffy and Thomas were very dominant, to the point where the other characters their age simply seemed to react to whatever the Queen Mother's son and daughter were doing.

The deaths of Darla, Aly and Emma were practically blips on the radar of the show; almost as if they were pointless characters. Insignificant in the context of Taylor's story and the trajectory of the Tridge family! As for shooting Bill, the man himself has now forgotten all about it, to the point where he is happy to sell his Aspen house to Steffy and the lady who shot him. :-P :-D I LOVED how he told a dumbfounded Brooke that both Steffy AND Taylor were at that house 2 weeks ago, without batting an eyelid. ;-)

Taylor, Taylor, Taylor - we all sing a toast to thee.
None can match thy presence, or outdo thy family!

This is absolutely and utterly remarkable considering the fact that Taylor isn't a day one character. She only came on as a replacement for Caroline, but boy has she (and her children) dominated and influenced the show and the life of Brooke since then in a way that no one else has. ;-) Day one character Brooke is like a chump in Taylor's story now.

Hunter Tylo served magnificently for multiple decades as a high priestess at the altar of Goddess Taylor, and now Krista Allen has taken over those duties astoundingly. The spirit of Taylor has possessed Krista Allen the way it has possessed the entire show, and the way the character is being written now, they might as well make her theme song "Casta Diva" the operatic aria by Bellini.

Ring them bells. Ring them bells. Taylor all the way!!!
Oh what fun it is watch her family hold sway!!!!
