Taylor is and always has been the backup plan

Sorry to anybody saying Ridge truly loves Taylor and has chosen her because he wants to put her first this time. That’s absolutely not true. Taylor looked at him and point blank said what did Brooke do what does this have to do with her? He told her nothing he said Brooke didn’t do anything this has nothing to do with Brooke. That was a bold face lie he only went to Aspen because he didn’t get the answer from Brooke that he wanted… Anybody with a brain can see that.
Had nobody called CPS he would never have flown to Aspen. I understand that he can’t tell Taylor about hearing the voice recording from the CPS gentleman but he could have at least told her the truth that yes Brooke disappointed me again that’s why I’m here without going into detail. He chose to lie to her and now she thinks not a dang thing happened and it’s just all about her and that is the furthest thing from the truth. She is absolutely the back up plan yet again.
If she had any dignity even if she does believe he’s putting her first she would insist he get a divorce first and then come back to her at that time… She claims she doesn’t want to be “that woman“ well from the spoilers I’ve read it certainly sounds like she is definitely going to be “that woman“. And it’s honestly the woman she’s always been… James, Hector, Eric, Thorne, Nick, Rick, Storme, , Stephen…and then some… She’s always been “that woman“ she just isn’t woman enough to admit it but she loves to point out Brooke has done the same. #HypocriteMuch.
I do not feel sorry for her whatever she gets she definitely has coming karma is going bite her and Ridge both hard. Nope she had nothing to do with what Thomas did per se, but her constant whining, moaning and instigating about how much she wanted Ridge provoked both Thomas and Steffy into behaving the way they have been behaving. She has sat back and let them do the dirty work so that she could look like she had clean hands. She’s pathetic.
And FYI… Ridge doesn’t know what real love is… He loves no one… All he cares about is himself. He is a narcissist who needs a woman to stroke his ego and honestly I don’t think he cares what woman it is.

She may be the back up plan in this instance but she has not always been the back up plan. That's just not true.

This did not happen overnight. We have seen months of Ridge moving away from Brooke both physically and emotionally and not being ablto stay away from Taylor.

And in between Brooke was manipulated by Sheila. And then she was manipulated by Steffy and Thomas. And then she was manipulated again by whoever placed the CPS call. And Ridge was subjected to a relentless chorus from his kids on how bad Brooke is. And there were the "family" dinners which allowed Taylor to be with Ridge without Brooke there...also manipulated. This did not happen naturally.

She was manipulated by Sheila to drink. No one manipulated her to lie to her husband. No one manipulated her into trying to Douglas to be quiet about Grandma kissing Santa Claus.
