Thomas is always leaving out/minimizing things

According to him he was just cutting an apple, Brooke freaked out and called CPS. That's how he presented it to Hope today. First of all what did he expect? Brooke planned a special dinner for her HUSBAND. He and Steffy deliberately sabotaged it, he had to know Brooke would pay him a visit and lash out at him. If he was married and someone was pulling every tricks in the book to ruin his marriage, he would confront that person the same way Brooke confronted him. And then why is he leaving out the 2nd part of his argument with Brooke? Once the apple was cut, why did he not put the knife down? He had no reason to keep holding that knife. Let alone raise his voice, point the knife at Brooke and tell her he'll make sure she disappears for good. He wants Hope to believe he has changed, so he is only telling her his side of the story. If Hope heard the anger in his voice and saw him brandishing the knife, I doubt she would have smiled and told him she believes him today.
He is always making things up and leaving out important pieces of informations. Even when he told Ridge about Emma. When Ridge harassed him to know the truth, he finally spilled that he followed her car and didn't call 911. But he still never told Ridge he honked his horn, tailgated and flashed his headlights until she crashed her car. This is the only reason why Ridge still thinks it was an accident. Same thing with Hope today. She only believes Thomas' version because he is lying through his teeth!!!!

Yes but we already know that Brooke only planned that dinner in an effort to manipulate Ridge with sex, because she got caught hugging Bill that day. Mute all around.
