Agreed that Thomas kept Beth away and all that. Thomas paid by handing over his son to Hope for a long time. He literally gave up his son. All he wants now is to be back in his son’s life and spend some time with him. What the heck is Brooke’s problem? She makes me sick.

It was Thomas' own fault that he was not in his son's life. Hope never kept Douglas from Thomas, she even encouraged Thomas to spend more time with Douglas. The problem now is Thomas is not wanting to share Douglas with Hope. Thomas took Douglas and will not bring him back and Hope has to go to Eric's house to see Douglas and cannot have any alone time with Douglas. This is all a plot pulled by Thomas to get to spend time with Hope.
