I don't think the writers are even teasing it. There needs to be a character for Brooke to discuss the Thomas story line with. And who is better than Liam, who also has suspicions about Thomas?

I totally agree. I sure didn't see any kind of tease yet. A tease would be if they were touching randomly, maybe reaching for the same object and then looking startled when their hands meet. Or if Brooke had really called CPS and was confiding in Liam while keeping it from Ridge and Hope, which would lead to a few secret, conspirative meetings. But we actually haven't seen anything but a mother-in-law and her son-in-law discussing their concerns about Douglas, Thomas and Hope.
