Ridge just gave Tom the idea. I am now not thinking it is going to be Brooke, but Tom that does it. Thus proving to everyone, he has not changed.

Yes she did tell Ridge flat out she might call them, he asked her not to, so then why would she lie later, after telling him she might do it? But, Ridge did tell Tom and put that idea into Mr. Peabody's head. LOL
