Well that was strange. Today's show 8/29/22

I think the show made the difference between Ridge and Taylor and Ridge and Brooke stark today. He's happy and relaxed around Taylor and he's going through the motions with Brooke. He clearly loves Brooke but he's happier with Taylor. He's just too cowardly to leave Brooke. It makes me think of an 80s country song by Earl Thomas Conley called "Holding Her and Loving You". There's a line that says "if she'd give me one good reason I'd be gone but she ain't done one thing wrong". Ridge just wants a reason to leave Brooke so he's not the bad guy.

And if that's the case why hasn't he told Taylor that? She's so desperately begging for a scrap, the least he could do is be kind enough and give her one.
