I give them points for originality...farfetched...but its a soap...I'm sure all of Sheila fans are laughing now....our girl cut off her own toe to fake her own death. Sheila really is the last of the true soap supervillains and I for one am loving every minute of it....all the drama...So much better than Quarter and the triangle from hell....lol

No, she's just strange, very strange and scary. Maybe he thinks it's a stranger because he doesn't immediately recognize her and not expecting her to be there.
