Not with Sheila on the loose, and Steffy sure to blab to Taylor and Taylor sure to blab to Ridge and Ridge sure to tell Brooke and Brooke probably telling Hope and Hope probably telling Liam, etc., etc. Li was right to keep everything secret. In addition, until she found out Sheila shot Finn and Steffy, Taylor was Sheila's BFF. She even told everyone Sheila was part of the family.

Li didn't say Sheila was a factor in her decision to keep it a secret that Finn was alive, but it sure does make sense that she would be worried about that. After all, Sheila DID find Finn. And she almost killed him all over again. So, I agree. I can see why Li didn't tell anyone.
