You mean, did Ridge think he was free to do anything he wants because he and Brooke were only living "in the moment"? Probably not, but he sure does operate like he thinks so.

It's a grey area, because the show hasn't really been specific about Bridge's arrangement. No one really knows what this "living in the moment" actually means. I guess we will only know if we're supposed to count this kiss as cheating when we see Brooke's reaction after learning about the kiss.

Of course, this Tridge kiss should count as cheating. Bridge are still legally MARRIED..not to mention, he made a decision to move back home and even told Taylor about his decision too. Ridge is likely to keep this SOBER cheating kiss a secret from his wife, and he totally deserves to be crucified and stoned to death just like Brooke went through this he!! when she kept her drunken kiss a secret.
