When I make reference to Seteffy‘s attire in Monaco, I am referring to the fact that I’ve seen her look a lot more devastated many times. I don’t know if it’s about her clothing or the way they staged the scene. She’s parents rushed over the water to see her because she has mild depression. They’re telling us she’s in a very serious situation and I expected her appearance to complement what they’ve been saying about Steffy’s situation.

Grief therapy is a good thing ....you don't have to be unkempt .....

Steffy looked overdone for the time of day, the situation, etc. I just want to add though, I thought JMW looked fantastic in the outfit. But, to me there is a separation between the character and the real person, and the dynamic of what the character is saying, doing, wearing. The show seems to do this specifically with Steffy, like it is suppose to be so dramatic, and instead for some of us, it makes us roll our eyes and laugh. Example: Brooke is in Monte Carlo on Bill's yacht, she is sad and alone thinking about Bill and Ridge. Bill is behind her at a distance. She is wearing white pants and a coral sleeveless top and sandals. Her hair is straight and looks like it does every day. It was normal clothing for the middle of the day in MC. We get the scene Friday, Steffy is in that club hopping dress, Jacki-O's, all made up, the only thing missing was a parasol. LOL. It is too over the top. IMO. It just does not fit the dynamic of the SL, IMHO, and it seems forced and almost pompous.
