They rush some s/l that are totally not believable (even for a soap) and drag others out like fingernails on a chalkboard. Bring back fashion!!

I did not watch today. I think I am going to tune out all next week. I have absolutely no interest in seeing Steffy again right now. Add her mother to the mix, and the show stinks for me. I do like JMW and KA both, I think they do a fine job. But, Steffy and Taylor are just too stuck up and full of themselves for me. I was hoping for a longer break from The Steffy Forrester Praise and Worship Show, but it was not meant to be. And Taylor is like fingers on a blackboard for me, her voice is so annoying, that phony whisper is mind numbing. And, they have her saying the most stupid things, over and over and over. I wanted Taylor back, I thought she was needed on the show, little did I realize, she would be the reason I tune out. It makes me sad that this show I have watched for years, except for Breacon back in the day, is not enjoyable for me anymore. And, it is not the actress, it is how they have decided to write the character on this return. Old Taylor was loathsome, but she was not insufferable and annoying.

I agree with you. I did end up watching after all. The kids scenes with Finn were heartwarming. Finn is such a great guy all around. Good father, good husband. Just an all round good person. He deserves so much more than Steffy. But maybe now she will actually appreciate him the way she should have from the beginning. The scenery shots were breathtaking. And it was nice to see a few new sets for a change.

But my goodness, Taylor needs to tone it down. The giggling is really getting over the top. And the gaga eyes at Ridge are still going on. You're right, she is insufferable. It was incongruous to see Kelly calling her Grandma while she's dressing and acting like a hormonal teenager. And could Ridge be any more obnoxious? I'm glad he told Bill he's in his debt. Bill is showing his human side and it's a refreshing change although I don't want the old, snarky Bill to disappear completely. He does have the best lines on the show.

Steffy looks gorgeous. I don't agree with others who said the way she looks is in complete contrast to the fact that she's grieving. She's in a healthcare facility and so chances are she's been encouraged to dress up and look good so she can feel good about herself. But I think they should have said a little bit about the nanny at least and the fact that she's been taking care of the kids while Steffy takes time for herself. Taylor still deserves an earful for asking her daughter to go away by herself and not being there for her especially when she was grieving. But of course she won't get it. Taylor never gets told off for her mistakes.
