They used to be the best. Paris doesn’t have contemporaries and they rushed too quickly to give her romance. I don’t understand what they are trying to do. Zoe nor Paris are subs for that adult story delivered by Maya and Rick.
Rick had great stories even growing up. Then he had the whole scene supporting him with Kimberly, Amber, Deacon, CJ, and Becky. Hope's teenage period likewise had a lot of support at the time.
I don't love Paris' character, but it might be floundering because it doesn't have enough support. She and Zoe should have been related somehow to the Avants. Maybe cousins, in-laws, something. Or to Justin. They tried it with Emma, but then that didn't work for whatever reason. Paris needs more people to work with. That's why her mom is there, but they brought her mom in way wrong.
