Paris not a bad character
Paris reminds me of the girls I grew up with who seemed to turn everything they touched into gold. They made the good grades, won the school competitions, and were very popular. Paris is not a bad young woman. She’s fickle and naive and finding her place in the world. She is an irritant like many young women her age. She will be knocked off her pedestal one day and it will hit her hard. I think the real reason Paris is not working out the way I had hoped is because we need more people her age on the show. In fact, I’d rather see a few more young people than some of the people we have on right now that they’re not putting to good use. She’s around too many 30-something and 40, and 50 year olds. She needs to be goung out and having fun with friends and not getting tied up with an old guy like Carter. I wish the show would think about the bigger picture before they bring on any new character or replacement actor.
She sure looks 100x better than Carter, Quinn, Eric or Donna right now. But I also don't find her character very interesting. No personality, kind of like Finn. Ultimately she'll just be another short-term character, like Zoe and many others before.
