Not for me. The show has had to do way too much throwing under the bus. I literally dislike every character on this show but Brooke, Eric, and Donna. I do not feel sorry for Thomas or for Hope. If anything, the show proved how toxic the relationship is.

It made my skin crawl.

Mine too. The show should've never went there in the first place! So gross and wrong on so many levels!

It's insulting to make Hope beg this abuser. I'm disgusted and irritated by her stupidity. Oh well... She thought that Thomas will be more stable than Liam, but Liam would never leave her over something so silly, so easily.

I'm beginning to think someone on the writing team really hates Hope. Never did I ever think she would stoop so low as to beg this man, and that too, not for a real relationship but to continue being lavished with praise and having sex. It is honestly so degrading and I can't remember a soap character ever doing a 180 like this, let alone a soap character who is supposed to be a heroine. It was bad enough that she destroyed her marriage and her daughters home for her so called fantasy, but then to want to continue just having fun with that man without any form of commitment, well that's just beyond anything I ever thought Hope would do. And with Thomas of all people. This is not to say that I think Hope can never come back from this. She can and I hope she will. But at this time there is seriously nothing I can say in her defense. This hasn't made me like Thomas any more than I did before, but it has made me root for him very strongly to walk away. I think mostly because Hope needs to realize how selfish she has been this whole past year and how selfish she is continuing to be. Maybe when the man who has always been desperate for her walks away from her she will finally look in the mirror and come to her senses.
