Didn't Hope do this before? Or at least Liam did?

Help me remember if you can. Didn't Hope have to run interference about Brooke's affair with Bill? Either that, or it was Liam running interference during Katie's affair with the engaged Ridge? IDK. I seems like I've seen this before in terms of people having conversations with others about their affairs. Is it one of them or someone else?

Depends on your definition of "interference". Hope found out about the kiss Bill shared in Big Bear after Stephanie's death. She confronted Brooke about it and tried to convince her to come clean. Liam also caught Brill kissing in his "napping room" but that was years later. He talked to Brooke about it and convinced her to tell Katie the truth. Hope also did this with Caroline Thomas and Rick, and yes, maybe Liam confronted Katie and Ridge, I can't remember this one. But I don't think confronting someone means interfering. They never used these informations for malicious motives.

I didn't say that confronting anyone meant interfering. I said "running interference." That is a saying meaning to arbitrate or help people with issues.

For example, I would say Grace is interfering, but Hope is running interference.
