What I want IF Steam get back together (General)

The whole context of Steam's last destruction will need to be acknowledged. By Liam and Steffy first, but also by characters who benefitted.
They didn't end for the same reasons as other couples and that's why they may think they have unfinished business.
These 5 elements were necessary. If ONE of these 5 hadn't happened, they would likely still be together. These 5 points allowed Hope and Finn to "win" by default :
A) Steffy sleeps with Bill.
B) Hope comes back the same week and (later in the storyline) wants him to leave his wife for her.
C) Bill and Justin conspire against them. 1st the lipstick/pillow scam. 2nd the blackmail ("You leave Liam or Taylor goes to prison"). 3rd Justin monitoring .
D) Hope gets pregnant from her rebound one night-stand (when Wyatt told Liam that Still were together).
E) Steffy ends things with Liam and puts her ring on Hope's finger.

Hope wouldn't stand a chance if....
A) If Steffy hadn't made the worst mistake of her life. Liam fought like hell to steal her from Wyatt. He was never going to dump her. Bill is the only mistake he couldn't immediately forgive.
B) If she had come back later or earlier. Her timing couldn't be more perfect. She came in at the lowest, most vulnerable moment of his life.
C) If Bill hadn't pulled every tricks in the book. Even Hope was lucid enough to ackowledge it.
D) If she hadn't been pregnant after he went back to Steffy. Liam proposed to Steffy and contacted Carter. He wanted to get married ASAP. He only changed his mind after he learnt about Beth. Hope admitted it : "Bill's manipulations created this baby".

As much as I want to see it, I'm still not 100% convinced they will reunite. But the idea has never seemed more realistic.

I do not think the writers will reunite Steam now only to tear them apart shortly after. They will get the whole thing or nothing. But no crumbs.
Either it's all Sinn angst and Liam will encourage them to work things out and move on with Ivy. Unlikely but still possible.
Either Sinn definitely implodes this summer and next Steam get a slow buildup. I doubt they will rush a reunion. If they do reunite, I estimate it around November sweeps.

And you know I cannot stand Liam. My feelings for him switched forever when he took that ring and put it on that snake's tail five minutes after Hope took it off. He just proved in the scenes with Ivy why he is so loathsome. He let that viper spew her venom all over Ivy with not a word of rebuke.

As to the subject of this thread, I don't care if Steam, Leffy or whatever you call these two get back together. They are a bore and are two selfish users. Just stay clear of Hope and someone please remind Steffy she is not the Ruler of the World. I'm tired just thinking of those two.

I agree. I still remember that the speed at which Liam put the ring on Steffy´s finger literally took my breath away...any other man would have waited until he could have a talk with his bride. Honestly, many of the same circumstances that Leffy faced in regards to outside manipulation were exactly what Lope faced for years prior. For many Lope fans Hope taking him away from Steffy felt like karma, but I always felt like Hope was for a time, a rebound. He always loved Hope too, but it was more of a first love thing, that Liam went back to because Hope felt more safe. The way she fell for Thomas and Liam so quickly turned to Steffy left me never wanting a Lope reunion. I cannot stand Steffy, I think she is a vile bully, but I do think Liam loves her and finds her exciting. Steffy loves men she can control and with Finn wanting a relationship with Sheila after Steffy has forbidden it, I think Sinn is finished and it was done for Leffy 2.0.

Steffy sleeping with her FIL, getting pregnant, having to get a paternity test and then lying to her husband about the paternity test was not an "unfortunate circumstance" Unfortunate circumstances are those that cannot be avoided. When people make certain choices and then have to face the consequences of those choices, those are not "unfortunate circumstances". And since then Liam has had many opportunities to reunite with Steffy. He could have chosen to take any of them if they were separated by an "unfortunate circumstance".

The whole context of Steam's last destruction will need to be acknowledged. By Liam and Steffy first, but also by characters who benefitted.
They didn't end for the same reasons as other couples and that's why they may think they have unfinished business.
These 5 elements were necessary. If ONE of these 5 hadn't happened, they would likely still be together. These 5 points allowed Hope and Finn to "win" by default :
A) Steffy sleeps with Bill.
B) Hope comes back the same week and (later in the storyline) wants him to leave his wife for her.
C) Bill and Justin conspire against them. 1st the lipstick/pillow scam. 2nd the blackmail ("You leave Liam or Taylor goes to prison"). 3rd Justin monitoring .
D) Hope gets pregnant from her rebound one night-stand (when Wyatt told Liam that Still were together).
E) Steffy ends things with Liam and puts her ring on Hope's finger.

Hope wouldn't stand a chance if....
A) If Steffy hadn't made the worst mistake of her life. Liam fought like hell to steal her from Wyatt. He was never going to dump her. Bill is the only mistake he couldn't immediately forgive.
B) If she had come back later or earlier. Her timing couldn't be more perfect. She came in at the lowest, most vulnerable moment of his life.
C) If Bill hadn't pulled every tricks in the book. Even Hope was lucid enough to ackowledge it.
D) If she hadn't been pregnant after he went back to Steffy. Liam proposed to Steffy and contacted Carter. He wanted to get married ASAP. He only changed his mind after he learnt about Beth. Hope admitted it : "Bill's manipulations created this baby".
E) If Steffy had fought harder. Liam's first reaction after Steffy left him was clear. He begged her not to call off the engagement and give him another chance. Steffy turned him down flat.

A, A+B, A+B+C and A+B+C+D were still insufficient for Hope. E) was necessary
--> Steffy breaks her vows, Hope fights for him, Bill schemes for her, she gets pregnant... and he still wanted Steffy despite all this.
Finn wasn't in the picture at the time, but he indirectly benefitted from this unique set of circumstances.
Steffy would have been unavailable for him if of A, B, C, D or E never happened.

As much as I want to see it, I'm still not 100% convinced they will reunite. But the idea has never seemed more realistic.
For me the writing shifted in Rome. Thope and Steam kissed in the city of eternal love. Lope imploded and the final countdown started for Sinn.
I do not think the writers will reunite Steam now only to tear them apart shortly after. They will get the whole thing or nothing. But no crumbs.
Either it's all Sinn angst and Liam will encourage them to work things out and move on with Ivy. Unlikely but still possible.
Either Sinn definitely implodes this summer and next Steam get a slow buildup. I doubt they will rush a reunion. If they do reunite, I estimate it around November sweeps.
If Steffy leaves Finn and goes back to Liam, I bet Finn and Ivy will be used as angst for Thope.
If Sinn work it out, Ivy will get her chance with Liam.

My whole point is if Steam reconnect, some of these events need to be acknowledged by the show.
Lope imploded because she fell in love with Thomas and because he admitted he never stopped loving Steffy.
If Sinn implodes, it will be because of his connection with Sheila and because she never stopped loving Liam.
No manipulation, no one-night-stand with a 3rd person, no surprise pregnancy, no external interference for these 2 couples. Just their own feelings for other people.
The Steam implosion was written very differently. They were torn apart by unfortunate circumstances. This context shouldn't be swept under the rug if they try again.

We agree on one thing, the show needs to acknowledge choices people made and why. They rarely do. I will add one to your list. Steffy allowed herself to sleep with Bill for the same reason Hope threw herself at Thomas. They wanted to be with some who was focused on them. Steffy woke up from her mistakes faster than Hope. Where we disagree perhaps is the interpretation of those situations you outlined. When Hope returned, Liam was having a real breakdown about Still. We don’t know if Liam tried to reconcile with Steffy for the baby or for Steffy. I have no idea who Liam loves more and I’m tired of the merry go round. The show needs a very fresh start. The triangle from hell had its moments but it’s over stayed its welcome. Not being able to let go has damaged the show in my opinion.

You are missing all the previous part of the story. Leffy couldn't stand a chance without all the manipulations to break Lope and Steffy herself manipulating and lying. Hope never had to lie or ask someone to manipulate situations to have Liam
