From what she’s previously said she’s forgiven Thomas for everything and they are a family. Pretty sure I’ll be laughing at whatever BS excuse she comes up with this time to make herself look good.

She can just say I need some more time, I just got divorced a few weeks ago...this is no BS, it would be very understandable that a woman whose divorce just got final around New Year (in November the papers were not even filed) is not already planning her next wedding.

Maybe deep down inside, Hope just couldn't bring herself to say yes because of the thought of Thomas being a permanent figure as Beth's step-father frightens Hope? IMO, that would be understandable given the damage he has done.

I don't think this will be the reason. I suppose it has to do with having been married a lot of times herself already and watching others, like Steffy, her own mother or Tom's mother Taylor, getting married again and again, I think Bridge alone had at least 7 or 8 weddings?
And her divorce can't have been finalised more than some weeks ago...why not just take your time and wait till you really feel ready? Tom gave her reason to think he understood until suddenly he didn't...
