I don't think there's a pattern of Stephie turning to Liam for comfort. I don't think finn has ever done anything to make steffy need comfort.
I think the mere fact that Sheila did not attack Steffy is enough to drive a wedge in that marriage because Finn's feelings for Sheila have grown.b meanwhile, the feelings the foresters have for Sheila have gotten worse, and I'm going to enjoy them having to eat humble pie.

I do think that Finn feels something for Sheila and the Forresters view her as an animal so if Finn shows any relief, even if Shelia was trying to protect him, Steffy will not relent. That would certainly drive a wedge.

And once again Steffy will blow up her own marriage. Like I said in another post, Finn has a right to be around Shelia if he wants. I do not think anyone (other than Taylor did) expects Steffy to be around Shelia if she doesn't want to be around her.

No, it makes every difference because, just like Thomas she has changed and grown and this will prove it. It proves she was wrong in fact Sheila was targeting Kelly or that she lays a threat to kelly. It proves that Stephie was wrong and Sheila even had steffy on her radar.

Steffy thought it was Sheila. Was she supposed to ask to see her toes as the person lunged at her? Even the police couldn’t figure out it wasn’t her so why would they think Steffy would know it wasn’t?

Exactly. Because Steffy will never accept Sheila being redeemed. Steffy's reaction to Sheila saving Kelly proves it. In Steffy's head only she and her family can be redeemed and nobody even has the right to remember their crimes. She wants the victims of her family to be seen as the guilty ones. She even called her brothers ex victim a slut for not accepting his marriage proposal.

So true. Remember it was Taylor who let Sheila into their lives this last time. She called her a part of the family and talked Steffy into inviting her for Christmas. Steffy wound up placing Hayes in Sheila's arms.

I think it’s heading that way, especially since Deacon said she may need his help. I do believe Hope may be more open to accepting her if she protected Deacon and Finn. In fairness, she didn’t shoot Hope. However, she did save Steffy’s child and that wasn’t even acknowledged.
