Steffy set the rules when she claimed Liam was a part of her family even though they are not married. She also proclaimed that Thomas and Hope were family during the Family Trap story. If Hope and Thomas is not a family because of not being married, then neither is Steffy and Liam..
This is what drives me crazy about this show. It is rules for thee and not for me when it comes to the Tridge Mafia.

Douglas is her son. She adopted him and according to the shows dialogue she is raising him since almost 8 years because Beth will be 8 soon.
Yes, it's not a genetical son, but if genes matter so much we would have to stop seeing Steffy and Thomas as Forresters.

So she has two families, one with Liam and one with Thomas. My problem with Hopes version of co-parenting is that it’s intrusive. I don’t believe parents should act as if they’re still together when they’re divorced. I don’t think exes have to be cruel or mean to each other. I think they can be respectful and courteous, but this business about exes escorting their children to activities as if they are still couple is not the way yo give children a sense of security. That’s just my opinion.

How does Hope act intrusive? When did she? We assume Liam sees Beth but never hear of Hope getting involved with that. I don’t see Hope as intrusive

What is intrusive is plotting to use a child (Douglas) to break up a grieving couple (Lope).... What is intrusive is buying the grieving couples "dead" child and gifting it to her spoiled entitled brat and using it as bait to make the grieving father let go of his grieving wife so he will be willing to be the child's adoptive father. What is intrusive is using 2 children to further your agenda of putting your lying adulteress daughter and her ex back together so they can be your vision of the perfect family...
In my opinion it is and always has been Taylor and her tots who have always been the intruders to prevent what the soap gods have determined is destiny.
