There were memorials for Aly and Caroline. I know there was no coffin for Caroline, but can't remember with Aly. I think the coffin with the body in it is important here as Deacon will find 10 toes.

I think she is alive but I don’t think she will attend her funeral. Sheila had no reason to fake her death right now. And I don’t think she would put Deacon through this. I think she is either tied up somewhere and can’t get free or the double wasn’t working alone.
I am confident she is alive but beyond that there are a lot of questions.

Another explanation could be that she just took off because she was tired of being Steffy's punching bag and was afraid she would lose control. Her last scene was her being disappointed in Deacon and felt like he let her down. She may not even know that she has been declared dead.
(I for one think something is preventing her from contacting Deacon)
