She keeps yammering it to everyone that is within earshot, I am surprised she has not told the janitorial staff at FC that she loves Tom. But, the woman never ever says "I am IN love with Tom, and want a life with him forever, but I don't want to move too fast" In fact, she looked down and away when Ridge asked her what she was doing, what her intentions were with Tom.

At the end she said "I love you, and I don't want to lose you"....I believe that, because HFTF would be in a bad place, and then Hope would have to face what she did to her marriage when she cheated, and what she has been doing the last 8 months. She does not want to face it.

But if she loves Thomas, as she says she does, she would be thinking also of him and what he wants and needs. She would be thinking of what she could give to the relationship. She is not doing that at all.

Well, an obsession would be indicative of waiting.

He has waited 7 years according to Beth's age. No one should blame him for wanting to hang it up. It's his right, and like Hope keeps telling everyone, no one knows what's between them and how they feel.

Personally, no one should give up years waiting on another person. That's incredibly unhealthy and it's not love if that other person wants them to wait for something that might never come.

In fact, it's cruel, and if the situations were reversed, no one would expect her to wait around for Thomas if he weren't ready just like they don't expect Hope to wait around for Liam to stop loving Steffy. It's the same thing, waiting around, not feeling like enough.

So if he loves her, why wouldn't he be willing to wait? He loves himself more? He's prioritizing himself the way she is prioritizing herself? He feels that his needs matter as much as her do?

He waited 7 years, but for Hope it's a fresh feeling. I don't understand why everything should revolve around only Thomas's feelings? If for him Hope should be as ready after few months as he is after 7 years then he should just go to hell.
I agree that Thomas prioritizes himself... As we saw he even prioritizes himself over his own son and we saw how he didn't prioritize Hope when he harmed her and wanted to condemn her to a life of a grieving mother. lol

But they’ve only been “together” for less than a year. In a healthy relationship, they would talk it out. She would give him some kind of timeframe, as he would to her. They are lousy communicators. Don’t get me wrong, I hate Thope. I want them to end.
