I thought that may be what what was happening, but then yesterday Liam said..."I don't know, maybe if I had done things differently" ...which was the first time he acknowledged that he may have been wrong to not forgive her for the kissing. So, I think it can go either way now. But, if it is Lope and SInn, then where does the angst and drama come from?

I don't think Liz is saying he's wrong. And I agree that Liam saw more than a kiss and had seen the demise of his marriage for months as Hope got massages on planes and gaslighted him that nothing was going on. Now she celebrates her cheating ways in Rome.

Yeah I don't get why they have Hope and Tom reminiscing about how Rome is special to them. I guess they really are desperate to prove they are a real solid couple like Graciegirl says but it's not working for a lot of people I think.

No. The flagrant way Hope had an affair and went about gaslighting Liam to do it and justifying her sexcapades because, well, Liam was "thinking" about Steffy "now," was the straw to break the camel's back for me. Then she thought she was clever to play divorce chicken but had to go back and beg to be second when Liam signed the papers and walked out. SMh.
It really soured me to Hope. And has actually made me have more sympathy for Thomas than her.

Lope were able to survive cheating when Liam did it so they probably thought it's fixable when Hope did it too. Those were few conversations and not months of Hope and her family begging and demanding or bullying him. There is no comparison. Liam was free to go without Brooke demanding him to man up and go back to Hope every 2 days.

Hope betrayed Liam and then painted herself the victim. She was the not the victim. Liam was the victim. And, it was kind of sad that others didn't know how much Hope gutted him.

It looks like Sinn already "reconnected", and Finn was shown relaxed at the cliff house after some beach time, so I can't see Steffy suddenly running to Liam for anything. I mean, she should not sit there and allow Liam to insult Finn (her pathetic little looks aren't shutting it down, and it is so wrong for her to gossip with her ex that she already cheated on Finn with about her marriage), especially when she got all uptight with Hope saying anything about her marriage. Steffy is way too much of a "do as I say, but not as I do" type of person. Anyway, unless some other big Sheila thing is about to happen, I don't see Sinn having issues.

He wasn't acknowledging anything. He was looking for validation from Steffy for his actions and he got it. That's the only reason he brought it up.

He wasn't acknowledging anything. He was looking for validation from Steffy for his actions and he got it. That's the only reason he brought it up.
Someone should validate his feelings. Hope sure the hell never did. That's why she continued to spiral out of porn control with Thomas until the now-celebrated Rome cheating. Liam is not wrong even if he was looking for validation. If they both had other people on their minds, she's the one who took it to the physical level, letting Thomas massage her and kiss her and hold hands with her.

Maybe he didn't mean that he was wrong for not forgiving Hope, but wrong for all the cheating he has done prior. For being too close with his ex... Maybe he meant that because he never spoke about wanting to forgive Hope since he saw the kiss in Rome. Both Hope and Liam made mistakes and they should both be aware of it. Of course Steffy had to stop Liam and remind him that only the Logans can be wrong and anyone can abuse the Logans as much as they please without a second though. That is what she, Thomas and Taylor did for years.

No, it did not blow that excuse out of the water. My response was to the idea of Steffy freezing Liam out and using a drop-off situation for Kelly. Even if Liam is asking her daily to reunite with him, is still no reason to change the status quo for Kelly of seeing her parents getting along, and liking each other, and being a united front for her. And that is done by getting along when Kelly is not even around. I think Steffy is handling all of this well with Liam. She is annoyed with him and shows it, she shuts him down when he starts in about her marriage, she is maintaining a friendship with him for 2 reasons, for Kelly and because she cares a great deal about him and his well-being. JMO.

Exactly! It is one thing to be kind and show a united front, it is quite another to be disrespectful. Finn should get custody of his son and leave the fools behind. Imagine if Hayes overhears Liam badmouthing his father! That is shameful!

These people have a long history together, they were married, but they were also friends when they weren't married. He is stepping over the line, so she should call him out on it each time he does it. Maybe tell him that if he keeps this up she will refuse to be in a room alone with him again and if he comes over and no one is at the house, she won't let him in to talk, they can stand outside and talk. If he comes to the office she can open the door and leave it open when he is talking to her. But, there is a place in-between curling up on a couch with him and just handing their kid off to each other at scheduled visitation times, where they can still be friends to each other. LOL

Thomas was doing the same thing all along with Hope, and she allowed it. She told Liam she could handle it, and she defied anyone to tell her she couldn't play that cat and mouse game with Thomas.
