I do not understand, how they calculate the Time, on this Soap. It is very incoherent.

Liam keeps saying, Thomas kept the Baby, for Months and Months. But in Normal Time, there were only 2 Days. Between when, he overhears the Truth, and when he proposes to Hope. 1 more Day, until he marries her. And she got the Baby back, the Day after her Wedding. It was not more, than 4 Days. Not Months.

Finn keeps saying, he worked on Eric's Treatment, for Weeks and Weeks. Yet there were only 2 Days. Between when Ridge tells Steffy and Thomas the Truth, about Eric's Illness. And when Eric organizes his Party. He collapses, at the End of his Party. His Surgery is the following Day. In Real Time, Finn only knew, for 48 Hours. Not Weeks.

There is 1 Christmas Episode, per Year in December. Yet all of a Sudden, Beth is 7 and Hayes is 5. In Normal Time, Beth should be 5, and Hayes should be 3.

I could give more Examples. This is very inconsistent, how they mix Days, Weeks, Months and Years.

On the show or on the dates of the actual shows, Tom found out first week in May, and the reveal was not until the last week in July. so that was almost 3 months.

Thomas found out on June 7 not the first week of May. Thope got married a couple of days after July 4 after Hope found out Steffy and Liam slept together. The show dragged out those few days until the end of July. So Thomas actually only knew the truth for a month in real and it seems reel time. Xander knew it before Thomas did.

It is. The kids are aged because it is easier to find older child actors. It's not meant to make sense. It is just a fact that soap audiences are used to. But the other stuff is confusing. Sometimes like now, every day lasts over a week, then other times, we jump weeks or even months ahead. It all depends on the story.

That sounds super shortened:
I can't believe that in just 4 days
- Lope signed the annulment papers and Thomas has learned the truth,
- then Emma, then Thomas chased after her and watched her die,
- then Thomas drugged Liam and Leffy had sex
- then he proposed to Hope and then he married her
- then the truth came out the day after the wedding

On the day, when Steffy had her small cliff house party and Thomas drugged Liam, we had Steffy worried if it was too soon after Emma's death, but still they talked about it being "days" after Emma's death and not it being the next day.

June 26, 2019:
Steffy: It's just awful. Emma was so young.
Liam: [ Sighs ] I know. I think about all the times we all drove on that road.
Steffy: I know. Such a horrible accident. Like, I know it's been a few days, but do you think we should really be doing this? Like [Sighs] A beach party seems, I don't know...

__

Not sure how you come up with 4 days. ??

That SL has dragged on from June to August on screen (and Hope has changed her clothes more often than 4 times)
from June 9: Lope annulment, Thomas learns the truth from Flo
until August 5: Liam And Thomas fight on the Forrester roof

There is 1 Christmas Episode, per Year in December. Yet all of a Sudden, Beth is 7 and Hayes is 5. In Normal Time, Beth should be 5, and Hayes should be 3.

They always let kids age independently, even it is crazy.

On YT they currently air the episodes of 1999.
Fans have commented on the time inconsistencies then:
- Eric Jr./Rick has been aged up so that he is already married and has a child of his own, but the dialogue has them refer to Brooke and Stephanie fighting each other for 10 years.
- And then the funny detail that in 1990 they always emphasized that Stephanie and Eric had been married for 30 years, but in 1999 it suddenly was just a 25 year long marriage that Brooke had ruined.

Someone has pointed out the inconsistency that Thorne one night broke out of jail, but that escape wasn't mentioned in the next episode (focus on Sheila turning up with a gun and the police coming to the Forrester Mansion) and interactions between Stephanie and the police,
Thorne 's escape only mentioned in the one following after that (newspapers).

I could give more Examples. This is very inconsistent, how they mix Days, Weeks, Months and Years.

it's quite simple really, there's real time and there's 'reel' time, reel time is whatever the show says it is and yes, it's very inconsistent but you can usually tell from either dialogue and wardrobe changes, or some combination of the two

with regards to thomas knowing beth was alive, it's been well established through dialogue (not just liam's) that he knew for months, not days, personally i don't feel the length of time matters in that scenario, he did heinous things but that's a different subject

sometimes wardrobe will change and you believe it's the next day, and then a character says "the other day" and you realize some time has passed, other times a single reel day lasts like 2 weeks in real time (i hate those) and everyone is in the same clothes for what seems like an eternity, it's just how it is

Yes, it was definitely months. A LOT of stuff happened in that time. Thomas was selfish to keep that humongous secret. Selfish and evil.

Agree! It was not a couple of days that Thomas knew. It was about a week or more when Emma was left to die and Thomas had been threatening them for weeks.

I remember weeks and weeks of Flo and Zoe's "tell, don't tell" drama.

That was way before Thomas found out. Xander found out on June 3rd because he overheard them talking. Thomas found out the day Lope signed the AP's because Xander went to Hope to try and tell her the truth. Thomas stopped him but didn't find out until later when he went to find out what Xander said Flo "wasn't".
