I don't see how they could save him from advanced lung cancer, especially if it's spread. And surely, top oncologists can tell the difference between cancer cells and non-cancerous ones. I'm beginning to believe there's a chance Eric will die before Christmas, and this gala is the party in place of a Christmas show. I hope it's a mistake, though, and Eric lives. But if it's a mistake, Eric's oncologists are no good at all! LOL

It is stupid that no one says the word cancer. If he sees Oncologists, then what kind of cancer? We were told from the get-go that Stephanie had lung cancer. So what kind of cancer does Eric have, or did Dr. DoNothing just decide it was cancer when he was at Eric’s listening to his lungs in the living room? It is stupid. No talk of treatment, just “you’re dying, oh well”

They didn’t say lung cancer although the symptoms seem to suggest that. However, I know people who have lived a few years with cancer. It depends on the type.

My friend lived nine months, but my uncle only five weeks. I have a cousin who lived a few years. But they all took treatment.

Perhaps it is not lung cancer. They just said, oncologists. It could be the stomach or esophagus. Someone else mentioned leukemia. Could be more likely to have experimental treatments or something. I don't think there will be a magical cure. It will be something risky.

Let me be clear. IDK if she got a transplant for cancer. My family has been really out of the loop about it because her mother and my uncle are divorced, and my uncle died. They dropped the bomb on me that my cousin had a lung transplant, the lung given by someone on her maternal side of the family. TMI, but my family is always very weird and hush-hush about stuff, so I have no idea what disease she had or even how to get in touch with her to see if she's okay. My mom said she is, but I don't know if it was from cancer. I'm just saying a lung transplant is possible.

My mother sees an Oncologist and she does not have cancer and never has..... So just because you see an oncologist, it does not necessarily mean you have cancer.. Sometimes a patient will see an oncologist if they have issues with their blood cells.

Well, Mia Farrow's son with Woody Allen went to college at age eleven or so thus I guess its possible! Bridget was a genius prodigy that went to medical school early so.....I don't know if Taylor should have went to the party. Though she has more right to go than Carter or Luna! I just wish that production could have afforded the rest of Eric's kids! They certainly had all of the Forrester line there (with the exception of Ridge) at Stephanie's death party!

Sad, but I think it confirms Eric will die. No one can recover from a cancer if it's a terminal staging. I know so many people who died from cancer. Once the doctor says it's incurable, it's done. Nothing you can do about it. You can delay the moment, but you can't recover. The only way they can save Eric is if someone bribed the doctor. If the diagnosis was accurate, then I don't see how they can save Eric. Any miracle recovery will be straight-ué insulting towards real people who lost someone from cancer.

I get and sympathize with what you posted, but this show does not care who they insult. Ridge raped Brooke and they made it a “misunderstanding”….Stephane had Brooke raped and in the end Stephanie was revered and her victim was asking HER for forgiveness. Tom wanted Beth Spencer to be dead forever to her mother, and he abused her son, now he is banging their mother. All these things are insulting to real people who have been victims of rapists, child abusers and bullies. I just think they don’t care because they justify it with “it’s not real folks and if you don’t like it, turn the channel” JMO
