I am beginning to think that some of y'all are right, and Eric is being poisoned in some way. It doesn't really make sense, but neither does this story.
Now that we know that no one seems to know exactly what Eric is dying from, it seems like there must be a reason for that. Like if we knew, we might get suspicious. Could it be the doctor? Could it be related to the fabrics? It only seems to happen when he is working.

In the Nov previews, Bell hinted at a little adventure. We haven't seen anything that would be considered adventure yet, have we?

It just doesn't make sense - Eric isn't the only one handling the fabric, lace - what about the seamstress that works with the fabric to make the dress. Something isn't adding up.

Don't allergies develop as one gets older? Mu hubby could eat shrimp all the time when he was young. Now, no way.

Same with me. I ate shellfish until I was 30, then, bingo, an allergy. Some allergies and seafood is one, don't usually develop until adulthood,

I always said he was being poisoned, had an allergy, or something was affecting his medication.

He could be allergic, or his other health issues & age could make him more vulnerable. I am extremely allergic to mold and dust mites. Neither is good for anyone, but I get severe rashes and asthma when exposed.

I also wonder if the Dr could be someone getting revenge or something like that. I don't know I just feel like this storyline is excessively dumb, like the Bill/Ridge sting story, and in the end, it was dumb because it wasn't legal, and it was meant to be ridiculous.

And they hinted today that it could be unrelated to the hand issues.

I wonder why Luna is not sick, she has been down in that vault and carrying all the fabric from it to Eric's. Eric does not sew the dresses, so the seamstresses would be sick too. It could be that special silk they used, but again, the seamstress would be sick. I don't trust that doctor and have thought since he always just comes to the house and listens to Eric's heart through his shirt and says...:sorry you are dying, nothing to be done"...that he must have gone to the same school as Taylor....Quackadoodle U. LOL. They keep saying Eric had all these tests run. What doctor comes to the house and just says...."your dying, sorry"?

Also, why hasn't Taylor been told by her children at least? She is a doctor, she was Eric's lover, she has known him for over 30 years, and she is family too. I may not like Taylor, but I would be telling everyone in the family with a medical background and asking them to do as much research as possible and help if they can.

I agree with all of that, and that has been my argument against something like that, but something is not right here. It reminds me of the sting operation. Nothing makes any sense, and in the end, it was because it wasn't supposed to. My real theory is that Sheila is going to somehow save Eric, but I have no idea how we would get there.
When I realized Steffy didn't even know what he was dying from, I almost fell over.

They may not have a name but they know what’s happening with his body. How do they know he’s dying? What are the symptoms? Coughing blood is not a sign of immediate death. Where’s the blood coming from? Surely the writers have figured out that part of their story.

I had TB, you cough up blood. Doesn't mean you are going to die. Also, it is stupid they have not named what is wrong with him, is it cancer, COPD, parasite, etc?

Come to think of it, it may be a parasite infection caused by the imported silk. Not everyone would necessarily get the parasite. You can get a parasite through touching surfaces infected with parasites. Parasites can live weeks outside of a host body. They are microscopic and can go to your lungs, heart, brain, colon, etc. Older people are more prone to parasite infection because of lower immune system.

I looked it up. Paragonimus is a lung parasite mostly found in Asia. Long term infection mimics TB.

This is interesting. It is something that is often misdiagnosed and can mimic lung cancer.

I sing opera and take coloratura roles. We often cough up blood due to rupturing a small blood vessel with our high notes. Eric's not singing that high, though. LOL Point is, coughing up blood is, more often, not all that serious. It can even be from a sinus infection.

But Steffy was so clueless today. She had no info to give Finn. You can cough up blood from an ulcer. There are very few reasons it would kill you, and lung cancer would be top of the list. Maybe he is inhaling something that makes his lungs look like they are deteriorating.

Adventure is like what’s going on on young and restless….I don’t see any adventure on here except a elderly man who dying or not is no longer interesting cause it’s dragging out them talking about it day after day no diagnosis this day and age is too dumb for words…he hasn’t even been hospitalized in top medical facility which is really stupid …tests etc would be done and at 80 he would be admitted for tests and observation guys filthy rich he would be on a plane for best treatment if anyone knew what it was…the dumb part mysterious illness

Exactly I haven’t seen anything that resembles adventure. Either the spoilers were a lie ( though everything else happened) or there is more to come. Perhaps there is something nefarious going on with Eric & Finn figures it out.

The Jordan and Claire SL against the Newmans is the best SL I've ever seen on any soap. I think Jordan will pop up in GC soon, not even disguised. I really want Claire to be Eve. I don't see how Vikki can be so sure after 20+ years. At least, they should do a DNA test.

Yes, He had no pulse at the scene. They were able to resuscitate him and place him on life support.Which is common in case he was an organ donor. When examined it was said by multiple doctors he had no brain activity and needed to be removed from life support but Li said she still felt life in him or something like that and stole the body from the hospital.

Maybe the staff that are handling the fabrics aren’t affected because they are younger and healthy? Maybe some medical issue that Eric has had in his past made him susceptible to these particles that got in his lungs?
