I didn't hear that, but I did hear her say "the news is spreading." And I was like, no. No, it's not. Not to anyone else that matters. SMH
And doesn't Eric have another son, Marcus, Donna's son with Justin whom Eric adopted?
No one ever mentions him anymore, not even Donna, but he is still one of Eric's children, legally.

I guess the writers have forgotten Marcus.
He hasn't been seen for 10 years (left in 2013) and neither Donna, nor Eric, nor Carter, Marcus adoptive brother, have mentioned Marcus for a long time.
We don't know if he is still married to Dayzee. We don't know if they ever had a child (offscreen).
Marcus at least has a child, Rosie, from Amber...didn´t Marcus and Dayzee take Rosie with them when they left for...Africa (?) I think...or is Rosie back with Amber?
But you may be right, the writers have no idea who Marcus is, probably...

Before, it seemed as if they were co-parenting with Amber. But living on different continents makes that kinda impossible.
The show fizzled these characters out.
First Marcus went away because of a business trip but he still called Dayzee in LA.
Then Dayzee got sent off by writing it that Dayzee went to join Marcus in Africa who had decided to stay there.
In 10 years the show couldn't bring them back for a visit even once.

Those folks are not mentioned, so I suspect Brooke is right, the only family being shown is Brooke, Ridge, RJ, Luna, Donna, Katie, Thomas and Steffy. So she just might be right. Of course Donna and Katie is of no blood relation to Eric, but there they are every day in his office or his home.
