The way he stood up to Li today. He was very firm. He made it plain to Li how he feels about Luna. But rather than cheer on Steffy when she’s wrong, Finn should confront her lovingly and respectfully like he did his mom today.

He does. He admired her parent trap (she was trying to destroy her father's marriage when he had already told her he loves Brooke and wants to be married to her) and also her punching Sheila without any provocation. He also accepted Bills blackmail without any questions or protests. Didn't even wonder how or why Steffy slept with Bill while she was married to Liam. And he supported Steffy in protecting Taylor when the right thing to do would have been to try and convince Steffy and Taylor that Taylor should turn herself in. He didn't even think that their actions were putting their kids at risk. He's as much to blame as Steffy and Taylor for Sheila being free. I think Finn would probably condone manslaughter too, if Steffy did it.

Regardless of who you support or don't support, there are times when you have to stand up for what's right. Finn has never done that, if standing up for what's right means standing against Steffy. Taylor committed attempted murder. Regardless of what Brooke did, and regardless of Taylors relationship with Steffy, as a doctor, Finn should have been appalled at that.

And he thought Taylor was right too. And for a doctor that's a major problem. Besides I wonder if he would have thought it was right if it had been anyone else but Steffy. And if the answer is yes, then he's certainly not a doctor I'd ever want to go to.

Then she could have turned herself in and pleaded temporary insanity. With a good lawyer she'd have gotten off. But the way things went, all three of them put their kids at risk by putting Taylor first. Taylor is not only a terrible mother but an awful grandmother too. She always, always puts herself first. And now none of them has any right to complain that Sheila is free because they all had a hand in her being free.

Liam should have sided with Ivy as Steffy was being a bullying witch to Ivy and was causing problems. As for simply not wanting someone to have to go to jail, that is just wrong on all counts. Taylor shot a man in the back and left him bleeding out to die. She is lucky he did not die. No one needs to cover for her. She is a grown up and needs to answer for attempted murder. I look down on Finn for being okay with that.

I don't thing that expressing a different opinion than your partner, makes you argumentative. What normal couple does not disagree, even if it is just for trivial matters? Finn almost reminds me the way Steffy was with Liam at those early years of their relationship. She would only say yes to him and was completely submissive, she almost looked like his servant to me. It was rather painful to watch actually. I don't want him to shout to her or abuse her, obviously not. But I would have liked to hear him say ''Gee hon, just a thought. Is there a chance that Taylor might have been wrong to shoot someone in the back and left them to die? Just asking''.

The thing is, Steffy and Liam were at odds so much to the point that I think Steffy was in need of a man who would stand by her completely.
In establishing a new romance for Steffy, it was important that the writers not alienate Finn by having him be opposed to her.
The truth is: Liam Spencer is a tough act to follow.
They were trying to give Steffy something new, something that could compete with Liam.
So, I can understand why they had to tread carefully because Liam has a million things in his favor.
Now that Finn and Sinn are more established and have a little time built up on the show, Finn has some connections, Steffy has fallen deeply in love with him, maybe NOW he can compete with Liam and his history and Finn can be more combative.
But I like him as he is.

Steffy had no business running her pathetic self over to Eric's to tell Ivy to leave the country. In fact, she promised Liam she would not do that. And accident or not, had Steffy not run her pathetic self over there, it wouldn't have happened.
I personally would not feel comfortable with someone who attempted murder and was running from it (as she has never been charged), no matter who it is for. It is wimpy and pathetic.
I think having a couple that can actually disagree with each other is much better than a whimpering simp. That is just my opinion.

True but I still think Liam was all wrong for Steffy and trying to fit those two together was like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. That’s why they argued a good bit.
Steffy’s matured since those days and her and Finn fit.
And there really never was any excitement in Steam imo. It was always just Steffy trying to prove she was “better than” *insert name*. It was a contest.
With Finn, he already sees her as the most desirable woman. She doesn’t have to prove anything to him.
They’re a couple not about a contest. Not about beating someone else like Leffy was.
They started in a nice, normal way, two single people.
Finn knows that Steffy had a fragility and traumas from her past because he witnessed the addiction.
So I can understand him being tender and patient with her.
He’s getting more feisty. And hopefully together they will defeat any attempt to destroy them.
Plus Finn probably will be arguing with Steffy when the dreaded Leffy kisses come out…..

He is. You are not wrong. And I think it will eventually come to a head.
The entire parent trap thing was also a great example of that. Also, the stuff with Taylor and the blackmailing. Given everything we know about Finn, it is difficult to believe he just thought it was all fine. I can understand him choosing to back Steffy, but there should have been conversations about it. Seeing couples navigate problems is part of the show.
I think with Li, he has started to see some of her flaws and feels like he needs to stand up to her because she is just wrong. I think the same will happen eventually with Steffy.
I like Finn. He is truly a good guy, but being a good guy doesn't mean you have to go along with everything.
I also feel he was treated really poorly in that most recent storyline.

I saw a lot of people that LIKED it but that is very different than thinking it was a good idea. It's hard for me to imagine that any spouse would think it was a good idea and just go along with it without a word.

I thought Steffy punching Sheila in the face made Steffy look low class. I always thought that Stephanie looked low class when she attacked people. I was always taught that class was not determined by how much money a person has, but how they conduct themselves. To me, resorting to violence when it is not necessary is not classy but instead looks uncouth. It makes a person look like violence is the only way that they know how to communicate.

That’s my issue with Finn..he won’t ever stand up to domineering Steffy no matter how wrong she is. I want to like him, but as long as he won’t stand up to bully Steffy..he’s just a wimpy lapdog imo.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

I agree. For Finn is in a rock and a hard place with the women his life tell him who he can and cannot spend time with.
