sod article: eric and ridge (Spoilers)

Kudos to Ridge for honoring Eric's wishes and doing nothing, not even mentioning Eric's illness. Eric is the one going through the illness, so his wishes should be honored and respected. It'll be nice seeing the old CEO's office, but sad Eric is ill.

Naturally, Ridge wants Eric to get another opinion or two, but doctors can't talk to anyone without Eric's permission. Eric is conscious and competent. I'm glad they are refusing to let others stick their nose in information Eric wants to be kept private and whose privacy is protected by law.

I don't want Eric to die, but they sure are milking this for all it's worth if he doesn't. Not sure I want to continue watching the show without Eric. This SL should give TK and JMC some great material for an Emmy reel, though.

Maybe it really is the old stapler that Luna finds. Funny, but sad, too. I want Eric to stay on the show. I won't watch if Eric doesn't make it. Too sad.

Great article. Thanks for sharing. I guess besides the old stapler Luna might find pictures of how the office used to look. Maybe that’s what gives Ridge the idea about the office. I’m hoping there’s a miracle cure at the end, but in the meantime I’m enjoying this storyline a lot because of the acting. IMO this is a much better storyline than JMC has gotten in the recent past. I think it will become a little implausible if over time Eric doesn’t suspect more people know, especially if they go overboard making a fuss over him and Ridge keeps his arrogance at bay for too long. That’s just not Ridge. Right now it seems Eric is all about his own ego and legacy and probably doesn’t notice anything else, but really if Ridge didn’t know I’d expect him to be prompting RJ with “Why aren’t you excited you beat your dad? You’re standing there looking like a sad sack!” lol

Hope they don’t drag this out…it’s boreing
