And Sheila is right that Finn is doing it to appease Steffy. I saw the moment that Steffy decided she was done with this. They were throwing a bone to the SINN fans...IMO. They threw a bone to Leffy fans with the kiss in Rome. Just like they have been throwing bones to Lope and Thope fans, left and right. The thing yesterday with Hope opening her eyes and then the scene fades to Liam. That was a bone. Hope telling Tom she was not in love with him was a bone to Lope fans. Then her telling Tom she wanted sex with him, was a bone to Thope fans. It is going on way too much....up and down like a see-saw. Finn has never been the issue, it's relentless Sheila that's the issue. No matter what Finn does or says, Sheila will not get it. If Steffy wants to be free from Sheila, she can't live with the object of Sheila's sick obsession.

But she's okay with raising Sheila's grandson? He's not going to act like a magnet to Sheila down the road? What happens when Sheila fixates on Hayes? Will Steffy just take off on him too?

ITA, the way these scenes were written with Finn standing there mostly dumbfounded until the end and Steffy repeatedly saying “Say something” made Finn look like a wimp. Shelia going on about nurturing and protecting her child was laughable. How is shooting Finn and being willing to leave him for dead at all being a good mother? If he’d been forceful and lit into Shelia maybe even physically removed her Steffy would feel differently.

What I saw was Finn being plenty forceful, but Steffy realizing that no matter how forceful he is with her, Sheila is never going to give up.

Their marriage can't work so long as Sheila is alive or out of jail. Oh, well, I'm sure Liam will be along to comfort her any time now.

It makes sense because today, Steffy saw with her own eyes just how delusional Sheila truly is. Steffy wanted to believe that Finn could protect her and the children, and she came back to the cliff house because she wanted to try. But hearing the insanity pouring out of Sheila’s mouth and not hearing Finn say “I don’t want to have anything to do with you ever again Sheila, I think Steffy realized, finally and completely, that no matter what, Sheila will be a threat to her and the children.

it is silly, she spends weeks at eric's then goes back because she trusts that finn will do what he says, then when he does do what she wanted she leaves, makes no sense, she could've just left from eric's, having her go back to the cliffhouse for 2 minutes was dumb

It really was, but at least we got to see Finn try to get rid and f her, so he looks more credible now. I feel sorry for the poor guy.

They were throwing a bone to the SINN fans...IMO. They threw a bone to Leffy fans with the kiss in Rome. Just like they have been throwing bones to Lope and Thope fans, left and right. The thing yesterday with Hope opening her eyes and then the scene fades to Liam. That was a bone. Hope telling Tom she was not in love with him was a bone to Lope fans. Then her telling Tom she wanted sex with him, was a bone to Thope fans. It is going on way too much....up and down like a see-saw. We saw this all of 2022 with Ridge, the bone throwing to Bridge and Tridge fans was so much, I felt like that scene of Snoopy with the piles of bones, munching them while he is reading the newspaper.

That’s why I’m ready for some stories that don’t involve love triangles, back to fashion!

This storyline is ridiculous. None of it makes sense. They just wanted to give Sinn fans one last scene of them professing their love and Sheila vs Steffy scenes usually bring ratings so they tossed that in to send JMW off with a bang.

It is about more than just Finn doing what Steffy asked. Steffy now knows that Finn has been lying to her and that he and Sheila shared more than one embrace. They connected and he called her mom. And Sheila is right that Finn is doing it to appease Steffy. I saw the moment that Steffy decided she was done with this. It was never going to work and if Steffy knew Sheila was Finn's mother BEFORE she married him, she would NOT have done so.

That is the best take I have seen on this. Sheila is good at seeing weakness in people it is why she is able to manipulate them. People keep saying Sheila is just delusional. But she isn’t she sees what’s under the surface. The whole time she was with Bill she never went to see Finn or even tried to talk to him because she knew she had no chance.

It's not about protection. Sheila hasn't done anything to her. And she has never just attacked her. Steffy has initiated all of the confrontations. If the issue was really her being in danger, they would have had Sheila threaten her, or they would have had a confrontation like when Hope fell down the stairs and lost her baby because of Quinn.

I think it is just that Steffy doesn't want to be bothered with Sheila anymore, and while she loves Finn, he isn't worth it to her. And I can't say I disagree with her decision. I don't know that Liam is the answer, but...

It's not so much that it's on Finn as it is on Sheila. And no, Finn did not definitively say "I (with emphasis on I") never want to see you again." He ordered Sheila to promise that they would never hear from her again (which she did not promise). But no matter what Finn said or didn't say, it became crystal clear to Steffy just how very delusional Sheila is and that Sheila is never going to stay away, that she will always be a threat to Steffy and the children.

Finn told Sheila, she shot them, and that type of behavior is not going to go away. He also told Sheila that using Kelly's accident as a way to earn forgiveness and acceptance is not going to work. He told her to leave multiple times. When Sheila tried to blame Steffy, Finn rebuffed her sand said no one controls him. What else Finn could have done?

And even if Finn point blank said what you wish he had said, would it even matter? Would it make a difference? Sheila refuses to listen. This is on Sheila and only Sheila, and I am not sure why Finn is getting any blame here for Sheila's inability to stay way.

I doubt it...he has been the golden goose of the mid age set. The other one is JMW. So with her gone, I doubt they send the other one to the back burner. I am sure they will find a good place to insert SC, where needed to spice up the SL.

But they want Liam in Steffy's orbit and Steffy will be MIA, so what major s/l will he really have? I see none..he'll be like Finn rarely seen. Unless, they put him back in Hope's orbit then he'll get more screen time for sure.
