Sheila is free because Steffy chose not to testify against her to save Taylor from prison and because of Ridge & Bill's bogus sting. Finn obviously feels some connection to Sheila, but he is willing to ignore that in order to make things work with Steffy and protect his family. It is probably not the best plan. He needs therapy or something, but no one is suggesting that.

He has had no contact with Sheila, and Sheila has not contacted him. Sheila has not shown up at the house; she is not harassing Steffy. She said yesterday she barely leaves the apartment. She is still delusional about Finn, but she hasn't done anything .

What else is Finn supposed to do? Ridge stalking her is certainly not the answer.
Sheila was free for months, and there was none of this. She roamed free. This would all make more sense if she had at least had a threatening conversation with Steffy at the restaurant. But they haven't spoken since the last time Steffy went to the prison to yell at her.

Yeah. You got it. I said before in another thread how Sheila hasn't posed a real threat since the shootings. I know she's supposed to be legendarily evil, but I'd like to see it instead of just watching people run around afraid of it while she's sitting at the house twiddling her thumbs.

No, you're not the only one. Like their other stories, this one makes no sense either. Sheila is a free woman doing nothing except trapping herself in Deacon's apartment. But all these idiots are whining and complaining about big bad Sheila..she just got out of jail and the last thing she wants is being sent right back..right now, she values her freedom, so she ain't gonna do anything stupid THIS soon.:drunk

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

The dumbest part is her self-imprisoning at Deacon's house. Just got out of jail after being there for months. You think you couldn't keep her out of rodeo drive.

Yeah, this story is silly. She was all over town when she was with Bill. Something has to shift so that she is not stuck hiding in Deacon's apt. I think that is where this story must be headed unless they are killing her off. Attacking Steffy certainly won't help her achieve her goal. And that isn't really her MO.

That's how I feel, but I see so many folks so sure she is going to attack Steffy or something when she hasn't even reached out to Finn.

I don’t think they have done the best job of explaining the threat from Steffy’s perspective. My answer is that Sheila is the worst kind of threat. She can be charming and smart. She’s no dummie, but when she feels cornered or questioned or rejected she will come out swinging. She hasn’t shown that she has a normal reaction to people who don’t care for her or question her.

All of that is fair, and I am not even questioning Steffy's fear it couldn't have been written better, but whatever. There just doesn't seem to be a viable solution. This story would make more sense if she just said I don't think I can be with you, knowing Sheila is your Bio mom. I need some time to think this through. It's harsh, but it kind of sounds like that's the real issue. She has just spent all of this time away from home, and she is going home, but nothing has been resolved. It makes her seem wishy-washy. What do people want Finn to do? He can say all of the right things and mean them, but he can't change his feelings, and he can't control what Sheila says or does.

I think many have been asking the same question....and at least today, Liam came up with sort of a good answer. Liam said he should put a tracker on her so they at least would know where she is all the time. And of all these people, that was the closest to making sense. Steffy seems to believe Finn can dematerialize Sheila like they are on Star Trek. Ridge acts like Finn should just kill her and dump her body.....maybe they think he should become a giant Squid and change his own DNA? There is nothing any of them can do because Sheila is a free woman and go wherever she likes in public. So, unless they plan to hold up at the mansion or work for the rest of their lives...they better just learn to deal with it.

I would think the best way to handle Sheila is to ask Finn to spend some time with her, by themselves. Maybe see her once a month for dinner and tell her, this is how it has to be....take it or leave it.

. I missed Liam saying that. Maybe not a tracker, but a private investigator would make sense.
The dinner thing makes sense, too. I would toss in mandatory therapy. Those are actual solutions.
