Liam has rebuffed Hope and now Thomas. He’s very dismissive of them. It’s not a coldness. It’s a resolve. I think the show will decide he already knows about the sex. I don’t know why the characters keep saying he doesn’t know.

I appreciate you distinguishing between suspecting and knowing. I think he’s more than suspicious though. I think he feels in his gut. Just like Hope feels in her gut that Liam has a divided heart.

Well he did say “that I know of” when they had their initial conversations after the kiss. I think it was in response to when Hope said “it was just a kiss”.
And his gut tends to be right so he probably suspects but doesn’t know for sure.

Yes, living with Thomas and his life probably did take a toll. Especially because of raising Douglas and how hard Thomas was making that so he can insinuate himself in the middle of Hope's life. I think that was much more draining than hope having to put up with Liam thinking about steffy or not thinking about steffy.
Liam had to live with her working with this man and co-parenting with this man and all the tricks Thomas was pulling, like that mess with taking Douglas to Eric's house. It was always something. And the last thing, that scheme to get Douglas to pick what parent he wanted to live with. That upset Liam's entire household because the kid ended up going to the cliff house. Very aggravating.

Liam is consistent. He told Hope and Wyatt and Steffy that he couldn’t take any more of Thomas. No one believed him. He’s had enough.

I'm not sure either. I said last week that Liam probably already suspected they had slept together. That would seem like a logical conclusion on his part. But people kept saying that the sex was the bigsecret /the story.
I just don't think he wants Hope back right now. Something could happen to change that or shift his feelings
But for now, he has made a decision and he seems comfortable with it. I don't think he cares how far Thope has gone.

He probably assumes and he’s correct. I’ll just glad Lope is dead. Probably best for both of them. There is love and familiarity but clearly they aren’t in love with each other. Sometimes you just outgrow first loves.

I think Liam is dismissive right now because he knows that Hope wants him back. There is some reason that Liam has not filed the divorce papers. If he was truly through with Hope, he would have filed them already. I think he is holding out to see if he can snag Steffy. I believe when Steffy leaves town, Liam will be knocking on Hope's door again. He can't stand to be alone and unless he gets with Paris, there is no other woman on the show for him and I can't remember Paris even showing any interest in Liam. Whether Hope is with Thomas or not, I would rather not see her back with Liam right away. As long as his heart is divided, he does not need to be in a relationship. It's not fair to the woman in the relationship to have to share his heart with someone else.
