Taylor just as willingly not only slept with Rick, but got engaged to him, then tried to "trade" him to get Brooke to "give" Ridge to her.

It is better than Tom...because he never abused a child, in fact he WAS a child when he shot Grant. And Rick never let a couple believe their daughter was dead, in order to get in the mom's pants. So yes, Rick is better than Thomas. So is everyone on this show except maybe Sheila. Thomas did the unforgiveable thing....and he did it to a woman he claimed to love, that is what made it worse. Not even Ridge forcing Caroline to say Doug was his was worse, because Tom didn't know he HAD a son, let alone that he believed he died, only to find out he was alive and that Ridge knew he was bought and sold to the highest bidder.

Thomas also was going to date rape Hope, but Liam saw them and stopped it from happening. He was going to drug Hope when he married her, to get her to have sex with him. He lied about Brooke during Berrygate and that cost Brooke almost everything...her husband, 25million dollars, almost everything. He also attempted to murder Rick twice, he did chase Emma to her death and lied about it to the cops.....so yeah....Thomas is a lot worse than Rick. And Rick was pretty darn bad. LOL

I have compared Rick and Thomas in the past and that they have kinda the same roles - the manipulative bad son,

Rick had been a minor when he shot Grant and Rick still can't even really remember. When he had to watch Ridge making out with Rick's legal wife at the office, Rick shot at the wall.

We had a young adult Thomas setting fire at Rick's place and blowing up Rick's car, because he had been unhappy that Rick had been dating Phoebe, later Taylor, later Steffy.

I wouldn't really like either one of them with a daughter of mine in real life, but mabye I would forgive what has happened before one of them met my daughter, have interacted with my family.

Would I be able to forgive, if my daughter or granddaughter had been the victim?

Thomas has already twice targeted Brooke's marriage to Ridge and has twice made Brooke out the bad guy, blamed for things she hasn't done:
- 2011, the lie that Brooke and Thomas had had sex on the island
- 2021, the lie that Brooke had called CPS and refused to admit to it
there also has been the time when the Thomas and Steffy have manipulated Ridge's phone and sent Brooke wrong texts pretending to be Ridge and not wanting to talk to Brooke

So what that he seduced Phoebe and Steffy? He was in love with them both. And what about Taylor? She didn't have a say in all of this? She slept with Rick very willingly while she knew that Phoebe still had feelings for Rick (despite breaking up with him herself). Rick got engaged to Taylor and wanted a future with her and she dropped him when she realized that Brooke and Ridge had problems and she could take advantage of this. If anyone was using anyone in that relationship it was Taylor using Rick. lol Rick was the one that was abandoned by Phoebe, Steffy and Taylor. Not the other way around.

That's not true. Phoebe was fighting the person driving the car. Rick can't do I've with someone hitting him and putting her feet on the pedals. That is her own fault.

I'd even say attempted murder suicide because she could have killed Rick.

The show dealt with this already. Rick went through his bad boy. Rick was castigated and even run out of the city to Europe because of his behavior. So yeah, he did that stuff, but he was also dealt with. Thomas though, still creating havoc, and got somebody killed.

One could argue toms misdeeds have been dealt with already

Anyway, I think its relevant to make comparisons

One could argue it, but it won't be accurate. Because all of Thomas' misdeeds have not been dealt with already.

For example, he was never brought to Justice or it was never even revealed that he drugged Liam to have sex with selfie.. that's just one example.

It's okay to draw comparisons, but this thread is calling brooke out for saying something about Thomas when Rick has had issues. So that's why I'm saying that Rick's issues have already been dealt with.

A few things I can say about Rick:
He wanted Phoebe to find out the right way
He tried to reason with Phoebe when she grabbed the steering wheel.
He went against his mother to help Taylor concerning Jack.
He loved Taylor.
He loved Phoebe.
He loved Steffy.
He was a kid when he shot Grant.
His wife was cheating on him in the office at FC. He was not trying to kill anyone.
He never tried to keep a kid from its mother or try to kill someone to keep a secret.
