Yes, that too..it’s a rebound. But there are all different types of feelings..and IMO, Hope’s feelings for Thomas is all about lust that’s why even in her fantasies..all sexual and physical. Bridge was always endgame and that was obvious as Ridge couldn't stop thinking about Brooke, right up to the day he was supposed to marry Taylor, not to mention it was all cultivated on Thomas' evil nasty scheme. It was never going to work.

If the writers really are changing Thomas then I hope they write Hope as standing up for her right to make her own decisions about it. I don't want Hope with Thomas. I want her and Liam to reunite, eventually. I don't see myself ever being a Thope fan. But I don't want to see confused Hope anymore. If she decides to be with Thomas, let it be because she thinks he really has changed, not because he's the anti-Liam. And not because she's lost herself or is having an identity crisis. I think the heading of the SOD interview says something like Hope is torn between Liam/Thomas, but it is taken out of context. In the article, it is just Hope being torn between wanting Thomas and doing what Liam wants her to do. Liam doesn't seem to have any interest in rekindling anything with her.

I'm with you. They went whole hog on destroying Liam/Hope much like they did when the destroyed Tridge. This feels like an end.

You can not compare Lope with Tridge. Tridge was brought back for one reason and that was Bridge angst. Bridge was always endgame and that was obvious as Ridge couldn't stop thinking about Brooke, right up to the day he was supposed to marry Taylor, not to mention it was all cultivated on Thomas' evil nasty scheme. It was never going to work.

Lope is a love story that has gone on for years and the angst has been the Thope mess. Liam may not forgive Hope right now, but they will find their way back to one another. AN said in that article that Thomas will be declaring his love to her and she will tell him, basically, I know you love me but I don't love you and I'm trying not to lead you on. Ridge lead Taylor on right up to the damn altar when he knew he really didn't want his life with Brooke to end. Hope ran to Thomas because Liam rejected her. And then she came to her senses and ended that horrible nasty disgusting relationship.

Thope is NOT a love story. In order to have a love story you need two people in love.

Yes, before Liam exposed and rejected her, she was happy to pretend she was still the devoted Mrs. Spencer. Once she heard Liam had talked to Steffy, she let used it as an excuse to bone Thomas. She admitted it.

I hate to be in the position of defending Thomas, , but I think things are going to be different this time. Time will tell, but I think the story is shifting now, to a new dynamic.

Defend away. But, I don't believe anything will be different because that's not the way the show does things. Something will take Hope's attention away from Thomas and he won't like that. Unless they are heading down the road to Ridge and Taylor, Brooke and Ridge as the parents of Hope and Thomas doesn't work for obvious reasons.

The dumbest thing I ever heard, but I think it's the writers trying to make Thomas seem like he really wants Hope to have what Hope wants. I don't see it that way. Thomas can't possibly be stupid enough to think that the person who Hope cheated with is the person to make Liam see reason.

The writers are going to great lengths to polish Thomas off, so either it's because they want to sell his redemption along with some swamp space called Hope Land, or they are going to make him hit a boiling point to turn. He already has been doing things he used to do in the past, like offering to keep secrets, so Hope can benefit from them. Anytime Thomas offers to keep a secret, it should be noted that that's his old MO, and he's suggesting this time that Hope be dishonest with her husband in order to win him back. He hasn't changed.

Plus, I remember when he told Steffy he'd buy her a house if he let Hope make a move on him. So I guess he owes Steffy a house. Maybe that's the reason he's okay with lying, but if he buys Steffy a house, then she can hide from Sheila in it.
