I'm glad Eric reclaimed his office and everything, but did he really just send Ridge into an early retirement?
No, I think he just "dismissed" him from his office as Ridge has been dismissing Eric when he had been trying to talk to Ridge enthusiastically about his new ideas.
Did Eric just fire Ridge?

No, I think he just "dismissed" him from his office as Ridge has been dismissing Eric when he had been trying to talk to Ridge enthusiastically about his new ideas.
But Ridge said, "You want me to step down, fine." Then Ridge said if he wasn't running the place, who would. Eric sat down like he was on pride rock and said he would.

lol no, but he sure did dismiss him which was fantastic, the whole scene was just good and a nice change from the other stuff they've been beating us over the head with

I loved it. I know Ridge loves Eric and respects him but he sure hasn't shown it lately. Nice turn of events.
