That's what I think will happen. It's very much like with Hott. Liam took long enough disentangling himself from Steffy for Wyatt to get close to Hope. That's what launched Lope vs Hott.

I agree about Ridge but he seems pretty committed to Brooke right now so maybe his waffle days are over. Also old skool Ridge was pretty committed to Taylor when they were married. don’t recall Ridge ever cheating on Taylor but I did stop watching for a while.
I may disagree about Steffy, she loves Liam but she isn’t in love with him. It’s quite clear she wants Finn now lol or else she would’ve jumped in bed with Liam. So I would say she is now a one man woman. She doesn’t seem torn but we will see how the story plays out.
As for Hope, she’s all over the place she isn’t in love with Thomas .. so I can’t say she is in-love with two men.

Exactly. That's the story now. The writing finally has Liam admitting it. He seems to think that it's okay to be in love with two women at the same time so long as the love for Steffy lies dormant while he's married to Hope. And when Hope disappoints him he takes the love for Steffy out of the mothballs, shakes the dust off of it, and expects it to be enough for her to take him back while he shoves the love for Hope down.

She really isn't. It isn't even logical that she would. She has never actually gone after Steffy to hurt her. I don't think she will suddenly start now when she was just released from prison, and there is a hint of a possibility that Finn could forgive her. Until I get a scene of Sheila plotting against Steffy or doing anything to anyone, I don't buy it. The spoilers are written that way purposely, just like it seemed like Liam was going to forgive Hope.

I think Liam is the one that is going to end up hurt. I like that Liam took a stand and was honest about not forgiving Hope.
Hope needs to work on herself & right now Lope is toxic. If they reconnect because of an injury the relationship will just fail again. I would rather see them apart and then reconnect down the line.

Because Steffy dropped Finn like a hot potato the last time Liam wanted her. Maybe he thinks she'll do the same again especially since she's already pissed off with him.

Because Liam is dense and an egomaniac, and believes that Steffy and Hope will always be at his disposal and love only him. He thinks that it's normal to go back and forth between two women and declare his love for the one he is with or thinks he wants at any given time. He doesn't seem to change or get the fact that this behavior is not okay for him or the women in his path. Someone better explain it to him, but not sure Ridge is the best choice for that job.

Yeah, that wording...."steffy has never stopped loving Finn...." What would that even mean to Liam? He and Ridge are both capable of never stopping loving someone else while with another, so I don't get it.
If Ridge is going to be frank with Liam, it should be about what a disaster it was for Ridge to go running to Taylor just because Brooke supposedly did something wrong. THAT might resonate with Liam.

I am starting to believe that Steffy now thinks of him as her ex and her friend but Liam still thinks he can use her whenever he wants and she'll be ok with it. That's not how you treat a best friend.
Besides, call me old school but I believe a married persons best friend should be their spouse. Anything else is asking for trouble.

Agree. Their relationship is beyond inappropriate. And I believe we'll see Finn having an opinion about that.

Well Liam thought that too....until his "best friend" started putting their daughter's abuser ahead of her husband and child. Hope was not Liam's best friend like she pretended to be when she came back from Paris. She was TOM'S best friend and that it why her marriage collapsed all around her...she cheated with her best friend, she lied to her husband, about her best friend, she gaslighted her husband, so he would not tell her that her best friend was still the same POS that wanted their daughter dead.

Whatever Hope did or didn't, Steffy and Liam are still not best friends. And it goes without saying that if a spouse cheats on you then they're obviously not your best friend. And Lope will be divorced soon anyway so the point is moot.

I believe that Liam's feelings about Steffy at the moment are all about regret. Looking back, he put his faith in the wrong woman. These past 4 years have been horrendous for Liam and he now knows that everything he thought about Hope wasn't true and everything Hope told him about Steffy wasn't true.

This is the most watch worthy exciting thing since Douglas said Beth was alive!!! Liam needs to be on his own with no one for awhile and I am so happy that Steffy is choosing to stay with Finn, it shows real maturity and growth on her part and that's great....these women have got to stop being doormats
