Yes, Hope was right. It was great hearing a character on the show say that. :-)

Great episode! And it was so great that Ridge and Brooke didn't argue about their kids.

If she still encourages Hope to fight for her marriage with Liam, she would be doing her a great disservice. I don't think she will, though. I think that was the point of that scene, for Brooke to understand what Hope has been talking about.

I have to wonder if not one is upset about Thope now...where does that leave Thope....because this show does not put happy couples front and center unless it is Bridge. Which is fine by me if Thope is off screen.

What would it be? He has no past with any woman....and Liam does not want her back and she seems to not want him either. They work together so there is no company rivalry. Brooke seems OK with them, Ridge will be on board too. Lope seems to be on the same page about Beth. Douglas should be happy. Where would the angst come from? Sheila does not care about either of them to bother with them. Deacon will be OK with it, if Hope and Brooke think it is OK. The only thing I can think of is, Wyatt decides he wants to get back with Hope and that is the new triangle. OR, Sheila outs Tom's part in gaslighting Brooke about the champagne and Hope may dump him over it. I cannot think of one other thing that would put butts in the seats for these 2 if they are all happy-happy.

Well, the writers will have to figure that out. Nothing would please me more than if Thope ended before it began. I'm not a Thope fan by any measure, whatsoever. But I am looking forward to what is next for Hope. And I think it's going to involve a lot of Thomas. Maybe a scandal in the fashion world. Maybe Paris wants Thomas and gets involved. Just spitballing, but the writers can think of something, until it's time to change things again.

That's why I have a feeling that Thope might not last long. Nobody will be against them... Even Taylor wouldn't be against them in the long run if she would see that Hope wants Thomas. She would have a problem with Hope only if Liam would still be in the orbit and he definitely is not. The only way Thope will be together in he long run is if AN and MA will be on the backburner.

Perhaps they will get their own stories and own problems, nothing to do with Liam and Steffy?
Like many years ago when Ridge/Caroline/Brooke had their own stories and Thorne/Macy did too?
The show was rather balanced then, though it was clear that everything Ridge was the number one story.

Thank you, Brooke.

If they bring new characters especially to add some drama to Thope then yes... Otherwise it's backburner or a short-lived relationship and it's no secret that I prefer the second one. I also don't see the writers allowing Thomas to be a good boy for long. MA is a too good actor for that.

This is exactly my thinking as well. He's been disillusioned by Hope and he's had everything she'd been denying presented right to his face. It's hard to ignore what you've seen with your own eyes. Plus, he noticed that she wasn't going to admit to it without him having to pretty much out her which flies right in the face of her characterization as righteous and moral. I don't think he believed she had that in her.

It's funny, though, that Liam can ignore the truth about his own part in it, even as he proves it every episode.

Good point that Liam saw with his own eyes, that which Hope had lied to his face about....that can really be a deal breaker for people. She lied to him and told him it was all in his head, and told him to "get over it"....then he sees that he was right, but at the same time he sees that she not only lies, she likes to turn the lies back on someone else and make them feel like they are wrong. That was why Liam showed her no compassion when she came home from Rome, she did not deserve it because she not only cheating, she purposefully demeaned Liam to cover it all up.

Just like Steffy didn´t come clean to her husband about kissing Liam twice...and also not about Liam´s vows of love, practically proposing to her.

We don't know if Hope would have stayed away from Thomas. Surely, she would have had to if the marriage was going to work. Would Liam have stayed away from Steffy? We'll never know because he refused to consider that it was a problem. And I'm not talking about in terms of co-parenting.

The show was rather balanced then, though it was clear that everything Ridge was the number one story.

If they bring new characters especially to add some drama to Thope then yes... Otherwise it's backburner or a short-lived relationship and it's no secret that I prefer the second one. I also don't see the writers allowing Thomas to be a good boy for long. MA is a too good actor for that.

I wish they would bring Wyatt into it, but I don't know if they would want to complicate the brother bond between him and Liam.

I don't think Liam would care at this point. I think Liam is over Hope. her betrayal seems to have taken his rose colored Hope goggles off completely. I think her betrayal and gaslighting him turned something in him, and he is just not feeling her at all anymore.

And that’s just it! Had Liam not caught his beloved wife kissing Thomas, IMO she wouldn’t have come clean with him, nor would she have kept away from Thomas.

Bingo.

I really wish that Liam would remind Hope that she asked Steffy to go and see Liam and tell him nothing was going on with her and Thomas....yet now Hope is claiming she cheated because Liam could not stay away from Steffy....uh no...not when Hope was sending Steffy to him to run interference for her. LOL. Liam was not having one romantic thought about Steffy before his wife cheated. That is a fact of the show. So, Hope's nonsense for justifying her cheating and lying and gaslighting her husband is just that....deflecting BS.

Right you are. :)

Yes, Hope wanted to USE Steffy until Steffy figured her out. Now she wants to blame Steffy.

Thank you, Brooke.

I posted the same thing about MA. He is too good as the resident villain who tries to be better, but just cannot do it for long. I cannot see them wasting his talent by making him all goody-goody as Mr. Hope Logan.

Thank you, Brooke.

I remember, but you nailed it when you said Ridge/Caroline/Brooke had their own SL...as a triangle. And Macy/Thorne had their battling mothers and their different backgrounds. Brooke is going to be on their side, so would that mean Taylor will be against them? Not to be rude, but as of right now, no other woman has wanted Tom in years, and Liam does not want Hope back. Not sure where the triangle would come from unless it is Wyatt?

Thank you, Brooke.

And what will happen with Liam when JMW will be on maternity leave? He has NOTHING else going on for him, but trying to come between Steffy and Finn. I guess he will have to start protecting Beth from Thomas. Maybe Thomas will start acting psychotic again and detective Liam will notice it.

It might be Wyatt if they free him from being with the baby seller. It also could be a story without a triangle. Young Macy and Thorne didn't have a triangle but their story was that their mothers, Stephanie and Sally, didn't want them to be together.
I know Thope will probably not be a longtime couple but I also don't want Hope back with Liam. It's better for Liam too, because who would believe him if he suddenly made a 180 and found out that "it was always Hope"?
And where would this leave Steffy, with egg on her face?

Thank you, Brooke.

Yes, Hope was right. It was great hearing a character on the show say that. :-)

I hope Brooke stops nagging now
