I don’t believe a parent hasn’t made some stupid mistake that could have put their child in danger. The kid was taken away and the parent just made sure it didn’t happen again

I agree with you on that. It’s just common sense to closely watch any small child while on the beach. But we all know why this scene took place and that’s so Sheila could be redeemed. Too bad they had to dumb Finn down any more than he already is to accomplish that. He must be taking lessons from Liam. accidents do happen but if sheila wasn't there, kelly would've drowned and finn would never be able to take that back, fact is he was grossly negligent

Well this is a good example of the need to practice water safety with children. Even if a child can swim those currents can take down adults let alone a child. You cannot take your eyes off of children in high risk situations. All kids need adult supervision at all times until they are old enough to fend for themselves.

I don't see that as an attempt to redeem Sheila. For me, it was to solidify Finn's new relationship with Sheila which in turn will force Steffy to make some hard decisions.

I’m talking about Finn, on this soap opera, who took a child to the beach and then left her alone by the open water while he walked away, turned his back and took a phone call while wearing earbuds that kept him from hearing that child screaming and crying for help. It was beyond negligent and Liam’s child would have died if someone else on that beach hadn’t been watching her. Thank goodness for that because Finn needs his butt whipped for what he did with Steffy’s and Liam’s little girl.
