I totally disagree. When Steffy found out about Brooke only kissing Deacon after Brooke was shoved out of her sobriety, she felt Brooke still betrayed Ridge, and that Ridge should leave Brooke. If she felt that strongly, she needs to hold her own feet to the fire she was breathing. Otherwise, she is a complete hypocrite.

I totally disagree. When Steffy found out about Brooke only kissing Deacon after Brooke was shoved out of her sobriety, she felt Brooke still betrayed Ridge, and that Ridge should leave Brooke. Yeah, she is basically Brooke in this situation. It is hard to feel too bad for her because she is and always will be such a hypocrite.

I agree that she should be honest and by not doing so she could ruin things for herself. However, I don’t think she’s more concerned about Liam than her marriage. I think she wants to keep the peace between Finn and Liam because they co-parent. She doesn’t want the drama which is probably a part of why she wants Lope to reconcile so that things won’t change. Steffy is happy with her life and she was also happy that they all found a way to co-parent the kids and co-exist. She don’t want that to change but as much as she don’t want it to change it has.

Secondly, she’s hoping that Lope work things out so exposing that Liam kissed her would derail that.

She knows it will cause drama and is just hoping they will reunite and no one ever has to know. It's dumb. (Doesn't she know she is on a soap opera lol) but I understand her POV. Even though she is wrong, there isn't malicious intent.
One of the biggest problems with Steffy Is she is such a hypocrite I have a hard time emphasizing with her; this situation is so similar to the Brooke & Deacon NYE kiss that she raked Brooke over the coals for.
I do think a piece of her still loves Liam, and that is playing a role in this. Finn is perfect. She would be a fool not to realize that, and I am sure she keeps telling herself that, but... I really couldn't believe she didn't come clean today. I had a feeling the warning would be to Steffy, but I had hoped for a better outcome. This won't end well.
