SPOILERS.....Today's show (General)

Hope has already admitted to having feelings for Thomas. She admitted it to Liam last week and then almost immediately reaffirmed it so the feelings are there. While the pressure of the standards she set for herself played a role I do think she was grasping for an excuse to explain away what happened. Either way something Liam says to her is clearly what makes her run to Thomas because up til now she's been so wrapped up Liam leaving her she hasn't thought about Thomas.

First of all Bridge was just white noise to me. I tried my best to ignore them. As far as Hope goes, we know that she doesn't think Thomas is a bad person. She tearfully admitted as much to him a month ago when she was profusely apologizing to him for what she said to her mother. That said I do think she's finally starting to articulate everything that's going on in her head. I've said for awhile now that she's suffering under the pressure of the standards of perfection she set for herself. As far as how she ends up over with Thomas, I think that Liam asks her about her has feelings for Thomas and her response prompts him to reaffirm his request for a divorce. I think that in turn gets Hope thinking and she beelines it over to Thomas. Lope are done, Thope are rising.

I don't think Thope is rising at all...JMO. I think Hope had some clarity today about Tom. She does not love him. She said she made a wrong choice because she was always putting high standards around herself. I know she is going to go over and kiss him again. But, I think what Bridge said today was a omen of what is to come. Ridge said, Lope loves each other, and no matter what, their love would find it's way back to each other. And he did some gesturing that he was talking about how Bridge would falter, and then always come back to each other.

But IA that Hope is suffering from her own self imposed standards. That Tom is the bad boy that she felt she could let loose with and free herself from those standards. But, if Tom has really changed, then he is no longer a bad boy, he is then just the guy that caused great harm to Lope and their family, who is trying to be better. Hope even said today how much harm Tom caused her family and her child. I do think Liam is going to reject her, then she is going to run to Tom and kiss him. If he sends her away, then good for him, maybe he is changing. If he beds her, then he is the creep he says he is not. And then we will know, we are getting a WTD SL.

I think your right. Thope isn’t rising. Thope was just used to break up Lope. I’m wondering if they may try Hope & Finn.

IA he needs to take stock and look at himself and tell her they both have made mistakes and it is time to work on their marriage, if for no other reason than, Beth. They can give it a go, and if it does not work out, then so be it.

Sounds about right.... I will add that Steffy seemed to enjoy the mess she set in motion. I wanted to reach through my TV and slap her smug grin off her face (Steffy, not JMW)

It really ticks me off that Hope was begging that habitual cheater.

I was really proud of my girl Brooke... She reacted exactly the way I thought she would... Not once has she bashed Thomas since she found out that Hope was the one who initiated it. She even had no problem "owning" Hope's mistake when speaking to Ridge. Brooke is supporting her daughter, but has no problem laying the blame at Hope's feet.

Yes, Hope has an identity crisis at the moment and who knows what happens when she goes sees Thomas. She could tell him that she know longer wants to work in close proximity to him. Maybe he decides to plant one on Hope and Liam sees it. Maybe Liam hurts Hope farther and tells her about Steffy and tells her it is over. Hope then goes see Thomas, apologizes to him. Liam goes to Thomas to tell him off and sees Thomas kisses her and Liam runs off all heartbroken.

At this point I do not care. Liam really deserves this "heartbreak", he has done far worse to Hope than a kiss. He even went to his back up betty and Steffy pushed back. I just can't feel sympathy for Liam.

I so agree about Brooke. She was great today. And Ridge was very understanding about it all.

I have a feeling that Liam will tell Hope that it's over and she'll no longer feel constrained by that "gilded cage", so she'll explore her feelings for Thomas. I'll hate it, but I think that may be what happens.

Then a forced Thope is nothing but a rebound..still creepy and gross.

Exactly! I also loved that Ridge reacted the same way Brooke did when he learned about the kiss. Someone opened a thread the other day bashing Brooke and accusing her of hating Ridge's son, just because her first reaction was to blame Thomas for the kiss. But now Ridge himself also suspected that Thomas had initiated the kiss and hadn't changed at all, before Brooke told him the whole story. Guess that means he must be hating Thomas too...

I am guessing Liam just tells her they are done, and she says "okay" and then runs to Tom. Or, Liam tells her they can try to make it work, but she cannot work with Tom anymore if it is going to work between them. And then she says "I cannot do that" and then hightails it over to Tom. Or, Liam tells her that he kissed Steffy and Hope gets mad and hightails it to Tom. Bottom line here is, Lope is using Tom and Steffy as their personal toilets to just use and flush at will.

She was angry about Hope derailing Tom's hard work and that Tom was the creative end of HFTF, and he said it was Hope's ideas, and Steffy said without Tom they would have just been Hope's unrealized ideas. Steffy looked like her granny today....and I think she is going to be about for blood. I think we may also find out that she blames Hope for creating his mess that has now got her in a position she is keeping something from the man she loves, which is Finn.

Thomas is the one who claimed to his family that even if Hope throws herself at him, he wouldn't do anything. Yet, Hope did just that and he CHOSE to happily go along with her. He's a grown a$$ man making his own choices/decisions..HE derail himself IMO.

I also think Steffy is gleeful now and is going to use this to oust Hope. Brooke will balk, but if she wants to keep peace at home, she will stay out of it. If Steffy wants to oust Hope it will be fairly easy. She will call a family meeting at FC, as it is family and business. I am sure Taylor will be there too. Steffy will make her case to Ridge, Eric and Taylor that Hope and Tom should not be working together because Tom has been doing so much better, he is at the peak of his creativity, etc. and he does not need to be derailed by Hope and her drama and games. Ridge will try to see both sides, Taylor will be calculating which direction would be better for her to get Ridge back, and Eric will just be Eric. I am sure Taylor will be asked for her "expert opinion" on the matter....and who knows with this bunch, but they may insist if Hope is going to keep working with Tom, she has to go into therapy with Taylor. LOL. That would be the ultimate one-two slap to Brooke, Hope and Liam. The final throwing under the bus of anyone not connected to that Hamilton Gang.

They have ousted many of the characters before, so why not oust Hope now? They ousted Rick for shooting the gun in the office where Caroline and Ridge were making out. They ousted Thorne for stealing designs and giving them to Spectre. They ousted Tom for the CPS call. They ousted Brooke for Berrygate, which did not even happen and was another Tom lie. They ousted Eric for cheating on Stephanie. They demoted Steffy for the "Ho* For The Future" stunt. I could easily see Hope getting ousted from FC altogether. Which may be why RJ is meeting with Wyatt and Liam in 5 weeks. Maybe he is trying to get them to help Hope out?

Steffy better watch out because Hope does have a case against FC for sexual harassment. People win their cases against their employers with very similar circumstances. The Foresters and Hamilton's all know that Thomas has sexually harassed Hope for years. The CEO herself forced Hope to work with her abuser. Hope can prove that having to work with Thomas again caused her so much emotional and psychological stress that she was confused and was not dealing with reality.

I would love for Hope to get her hands on Steffy and Thomas' shares and become the majority shareholder. Those clowns are getting rich by exploiting Hope.

Except Steffy has far more scandals than Hope..just in recent years, she's done plenty of scandalous adulteries plus paternity tests..so when is she gonna get ousted as a co-CEO? Thanks so much for the update. Nice to hear Brooke and Ridge are talking about the situation with cool heads. I'm really not sure how these stories are going to progress. With 4 children, I wonder whether JMW will be rushing to get back to work once she gives birth. If that's the case, what would be the story for Steffy, As for the Hope/Thomas story, seems kind of weird to go in that direction if Ridge/Brooke are solid. Mom/Dad and Son/Daughter just seem so weird.

This testing the waters for Thope has gone on way too long....and I think there must be a reason. Either they have no other story to tell because of the writers strike, or the feedback is more negative than positive for Thope, and they are trying to dance as fast as they can dirtying other characters up, to put Thope across. Either way, I think from a viewer perspective, they have dragged this on too long, and IMHO any spark Thope had, any chemistry they had, is dwindling fast. I loathe the idea of Thope, so I don't see their spark, but I do read other boards, and their spark is waning with some who wanted them. JMO

Either they have no other story to tell because of the writers strike, or the feedback is more negative than positive for Thope, and they are trying to dance as fast as they can dirtying other characters up, to put Thope across. Either way, I think from a viewer perspective, they have dragged this on too long, and IMHO any spark Thope had, any chemistry they had, is dwindling fast. I loathe the idea of Thope, so I don't see their spark, but I do read other boards, and their spark is waning with some who wanted them. JMO

I still don't think they will be a legit couple. I cannot see Hope consciously deciding to be with him after she's said repeatedly that she doesn't want him. Especially when she's constantly acknowledging what he's done and how wrong it is for her to have feelings for him. It would be one thing if she says he's changed and she's forgiven him but I don't think she's said that. Even if/after her marriage ends I still don't see Thope getting together.

JMHO, this story bombed with the sound effects. It made Hope look goofy. The video of Hope on the prowl like a lioness with weird sound effects was the icing on the cake. Thomas never responded in those videos. Hope is in control. That told me what I needed to know.

Just watched todays show. Hope was an absolute fool to try and put her hand on Liam's face like she did with Tom....Liam looked repulsed when she did it.

She is in the dress she has on when she kisses Tom, so she must hightail it over to Tom after she talks with Liam. I am guessing Liam just tells her they are done, and she says "okay" and then runs to Tom. Or, Liam tells her they can try to make it work, but she cannot work with Tom anymore if it is going to work between them. And then she says "I cannot do that" and then hightails it over to Tom. Or, Liam tells her that he kissed Steffy and Hope gets mad and hightails it to Tom. Bottom line here is, Lope is using Tom and Steffy as their personal toilets to just use and flush at will.

Hope once again has told RJ and Liam that basically Tom is a bad person. But at least today she admitted she was to blame for putting herself in a gilded cage and setting high standards, and she just wanted to find out what it would be life to do something impulsive and to feel free. And she said something I think about it not being so good, and it was her fault.

Oooooh Steffy is going to go for Hope's throat. JMO. She was angry about Hope derailing Tom's hard work and that Tom was the creative end of HFTF, and he said it was Hope's ideas, and Steffy said without Tom they would have just been Hope's unrealized ideas. Steffy looked like her granny today....and I think she is going to be about for blood. I think we may also find out that she blames Hope for creating his mess that has now got her in a position she is keeping something from the man she loves, which is Finn.

Brooke told Ridge it was all Hope's fault, and they had a nice back and forth about how they have all people could understand all sides in this mess. It was great to see them on the same page and being a united and loving couple.

I am wondering now if Hope goes to kiss Tom because of something she said to RJ about it was all just a fantasy in her mind, and when she said that line, it was like a lightbulb went on in her brain. So I could almost see her going to Tom and kissing him as a test for herself and maybe for him. IDK

Thanks so much for the update. Nice to hear Brooke and Ridge are talking about the situation with cool heads. I'm really not sure how these stories are going to progress. With 4 children, I wonder whether JMW will be rushing to get back to work once she gives birth. If that's the case, what would be the story for Steffy, As for the Hope/Thomas story, seems kind of weird to go in that direction if Ridge/Brooke are solid. Mom/Dad and Son/Daughter just seem so weird.

For me, I couldn't get past the unappealing part of their relationship so there's never been chemistry for me and I'm going way way back to the Cabo days when the show teased them. And, like you, I feel that they've dragged this story out for far too long. A slow build was never going to erase the disgust of Thomas nor the years that Hope didn't even give Thomas a second thought.

I loved Bridge discussing the Thope situation! I loved that Brooke set Ridge straight about it being Hope and not Thomas and I love that they’re addressing the whole thing as a united front, no angst and no fighting over their kids.

I also loved RJ being there for his sister, letting her vent and talk, just what she needs right now.

I hated Steffy and her always-uppity attitude. She just makes me sick. She always acts like her mess don’t stink, like she’s so much better than. While she wants to knock Hope and accuse her of playing on Thomas’ feelings, she, herself is keeping major secrets from her husband.

Bridge are downright boring.

The writers really need to do something for these two, such a hugh bore, and that blouse was simply awful.
