Why didn't Liam move on when Hope MARRIED Thomas (General)

Color me confused, I don't get the logic here. He is done now because she had an affair with Thomas but he still desperately wanted her when she DUMPED him and MARRIED Thomas. Wasn't it about 10 times worse??

As horrifying as this affair is, she still went 3 steps further a couple of years ago. Not only they kissed and she kept it from Liam. But then he forged a letter with Caroline's handwriting and she decided to dump Liam for Thomas. She gave him annulment papers and continuously begged him to sign them. Then a week later she was wearing Thomas' ring, vowing to spend the rest of her life with him... and marrying him. Liam begged her to stay with him and she still went ahead with the ceremony. If Liam had never found out Beth was alive, she'd still be married to Thomas today. I don't care if they were sad about losing Beth, it's not an excuse to cheat, throw a marriage away and marry another dude within a week!!! Liam should have slammed the door on her face and moved on back then. But he still begged her to leave Thomas and took her back with open arms!!! It was a bad decision to forgive her. At least she hasn't left Liam and married Thomas this time!!!

Then he wants to go back to Steffy, who also dumped him after her miscarriage, cheated on him with his brother and his father. How is it a better alternative than Hope? Terrible reasoning, writers!! They don't know what to do with his character, he is written all over the place. Keep him single for a while or bring someone new. I don't support Steffy and Finn but revisiting her and Liam is a terrible idea, they broke up way too many times!!!

Because Liam knew and admitted she wasn't in her right mind after losing Beth..her grief got the best of her and she wasn't thinking straight..that's why he forgave her for marrying Thomas back then. Plus, that short fraud marriage wasn't even consummated.

Then why can't he see that she is in the middle of a mental crisis right now? That is the part that is not making sense to me. Hope is telling everyone at this point she has no idea why she is doing what she is doing, she does not understand it, she even told Liam she didn't know who she is anymore. She has told her mother, Liam and now RJ, she has no idea what is going on with her. That she knows that she should be repelled by the man that wanted her child to be dead to her forever. That she does not want Tom, that she is in love with Liam and their family. Why is no one hearing her? She is begging for help and they are ignoring it.

Because the show is pushing creepy Thope..they want to force Thope in this very plot driven story. JMO. Remember, Hope actually said to Paris that she thinks her husband Liam is the HOTTEST guy in the world but the show is ignoring this dialogue..and suddenly, she’s now lusting after a “bad boy” who’s not as hot as her HOTTEST husband. Makes absolutely no sense to me either. LOL.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

Because then the story would be over before it started. If Liam recognized that Hope was in a mental crisis and forgave her for what happened in Rome, then we couldn't have the Thope tease/pairing.

Hope is NOT in middle of having a mental crisis! She isn’t begging for help. Most of the above, Hope never said. Yes she has gotten close to Thomas. What happened in Rome, was just the excitement of what was happening. It was a kiss. They never had sex or came close. Liam didn’t let her know he was coming or was there. Even if he was he would put on his broken record. She was in the moment

I don't see any mental crisis. If she didn't know what was going on, she would have never worked with Thomas in the first place. She has known about her feelings for how many months? Yet she has done nothing to stay away from Thomas. She knows exactly what she is doing. She didn't look repelled in Italy. She spent the whole trip smiling about her and Thomas.

Liam is a waffler that when things don’t go his way he justifies the waffling. Liam is a “Do as say, not as I do” do kind of guy. Not a real man. He has done the same with Hope and Steffy and even Ivy. Worse kind of man. Only thinks of himself

He is married to a waffler who waffles and cheats when things don't go her way. My point is when things didn't go her way, what did she do? She kissed Thomas, dumped Liam, served him with annulment papers, accepted Thomas' proposal and married Thomas. Liam still wanted her... why? It is illogical that he forgave MARRIAGE but he thinks an affair is worse. Both are terrible but marrying Thomas was still 3 levels worse, in my opinion!!!
