What is It About Thomas (General)

I don’t think it’s anything about Thomas, he’s just the excuse.

It’s something missing in her marriage.

She had Liam free and clear, Steffy is happily married and not messing with them, Thomas isn’t messing with them and Liam has been faithful since Tequila night and a good husband. She should’ve been on top of the world.

I don’t think Hope ever really knew who she was, her life has been somewhat centered on not being her mother and being with Liam, but in the process she never figured out who SHE was. .. when she made the comment to Brooke
About being “human”.. I thought it was interesting. She’s been trying to live up to an ideal that may not be her anymore.

What is it about Thomas? Some people like snakes.

Hope is so stressed out about her feelings for Thomas, the idea that she should be ashamed of them, that she hasn't taken the time to really examine them. There has something strong and something real to pull her away from a seemingly happy marriage. I'm not doubting her love for Liam but there's something about Thomas that drew Hope to risk everything by publicly making out with him. It's a similar situation to what happened with Caridge. Caroline was in an otherwise happy marriage with Rick but the chemistry between her and Ridge and the deep connection formed by her rescuing him at his lowest professional moment pulled them together.

Seems to me, it's all lusts for a "bad boy" that she feels and can't control. Her actions in Rome is pure physical and her sexual fantasy is pure lust (notice in her sexual fantasy, she never said a word). Then in Rome, there has been no real conversation of substance either..just all public display of lust. Never a word of I love you or I'm in love with you or I want a life/a future with you..none of that. She already acknowledged that she has some feelings for the "bad boy", so she ain't in denial IMO.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

I know you aren’t comparing Caridge to Thope. If nothing else, Ridge was in a terrible situation not being able to draw anymore. They bonded over that. I was mad with Caroline because she fought so dirty for Rick. You ask a good question, however. I think Hope’s attraction is about her and not Thomas. I’m still going with my theory that Hope thinks that men find her mom, and yes, Steffy, sexy. She wants other men to see her as sexy. That’s why I think her fantasy scenes show her in control and on the prowl like a sex symbol. She’s tired of being seen as a goody two shoes.

She’s listening to all the nah sayers she’s hooked on Tom though
