I see Steffy more as a victim of Reese than of Thomas. Thomas knew Beth was being well taken care of (as opposed to wanting her dead) and when he went to tell Steffy what he’d found out he realized he couldn’t break his sister’s heart.

I see Steffy more as a victim of Reese than of Thomas. Thomas knew Beth was being well taken care of (as opposed to wanting her dead) and when he went to tell Steffy what he’d found out he realized he couldn’t break his sister’s heart.
Is that really supposed to be a good thing for Thomas? NO! He lied. He kept Hope and Liam in tears and depressed. I could care less how it affected Steffy - truth is truth, and lie is lie. Thomas is a lying sack of crap.

Taylor liked Reese who was a doctor too (ob/gyn). She told him that she would pay any price for a baby for her daughter to adopt. He owed money to some gangsters and tried to find a baby he could sell. Per accident he was the doctor Hope gave birth with. She fainted and he stole Beth and showed them a stillborn child.
A young woman he knew played the mother willing to sell the baby to Steffy. They wanted 250,000 for it, cash in a suitcase (!).
Still Taylor thought it was a legal adoption - there were fake papers. (Taylor is a bit slow, you know

The only one who went to jail for this was Reese btw.

Yet she lied to the social worker handling the adoption... She told the woman that there was a inhome evaluation, but Steffy looked at her in a "No there wasn't" look and Taylor slapped her hands in a gesture to shut her up and Taylor answered those questions according to how Reese prepped her to answer them. I think the lying quack new more than she let on since she bragged about knowing all about private adoptions. That would also explain why she prompted Steffy to get the baby out of the country and only recently returned.

I didn´t say Tom was right, I said he was very wrong. But Steffy was not Tom´s victim because Tom didn´t sell the baby to Taylor, this were Reese and Felony Flo. Steffy was their victim and actually her mother´s though Taylor didn´t know the child was stolen.
I still think 250,000 cash in a suitcase should have let alarm bells ring. I suppose she knew the adoption was shady but just didn´t ask questions.

I believe she knew... She claimed to be an expert in private adoptions. She wouldn't allow Steffy to answer the social workers questions.... Taylor is supposed to be a WRQ and she should know when someone is playing her.

Ridge actually said it was strange. No one else thought to say something. In the US, you CANNOT buy a baby. If you are supposedly paying bills, there are supposed to be receipts to show the bills being paid for. Taylor was just as much a criminal there as Reese.

But he didn’t specifically mention regretting Beth. One could say Hope didn’t consider family when she kissed Thomas in public. I don’t excuse Liam but Thomas and Steffy triggers for them. Where I have a different understanding is about Liam forgiving Thomas. Yes he said all the things you said, but so much happened after that including the custody situation. It’s not been smooth sailing since the Vinnie situation.

Then he ran to Steffy’s and said with over concern, “how’s Kelly?”, in a way too dramatic tone.
Imo he is saying he regrets having lived with Hope and Beth over Steffy and Kelly.

I can only go by what he said. He agreed to reconcile with Steffy. He changed his mind to be with Hope. He regrets giving up Steffy for Hope. I believe Liam loves his daughters. He’s a scoundrel but he loves his girls.

He also said to Ridge's face that he's "actually in love with Hope" back when Ridge badgered him nonstop to go back to Steffy. So, he changed his mind to be with Hope because he's "actually in love" with her (his own words).
And Steffy staged the Leffy kiss in hopes of getting him back, but it didn't work. Then Liam actually called Hope to come over to the cliff house, he then professed his love for Hope, proposed to Hope again, then kissed her passionately right in front of Steffy!
If he regrets giving up Steffy for Hope, then he has a funny way of showing it. What's even funner is he called Hope "the love of my life" kissing Thomas, then right after he said that, he claimed he's got regrets. Seemed to me, Hope is not the only one out of her mind right now..Liam is too. JMO.
