They both have a divided heart, therefore he could understand the Rome kiss and they maybe could have gotten past this. But his hatred for Thomas made him react so quickly with wanting a divorce.

Now Liam will be on the outside looking in, from both directions. Steffy isn't going to leave Finn for him and Hope will start to get closer with Thomas. I think a Hope/Liam/Thomas triangle is coming. A legit triangle, like Lope v Hott.

Except, fake saint Thomas will NEVER be a legit, viable love interest for Hope..not in MY eyes.

I haven't liked Thomas since his lies with "Berrygate". He has only devolved since then imo. But, I detest, absolutely detest that sanctimonious weasel Liam. He has never been good enough for Hope. He is too weak, too selfish and to blind to his own mistakes.

As I remember it, I did not see how I could ever root for Luke being paired with Laura on GH since he raped her. He had this blind obsession about her similar to Thomas's with Hope. But the writing of Luke and Laura made me love them for a long time. Something in my gut tells me that Bell really has no intention of seriously pairing Hope and Thomas. This aberration is merely a device to give some drama the boring, happy couple. If I had to bet, things do progress with Thomas and Hope, Liam is rejected by Steffy and then becomes jealous of Hope with Thomas thus spinning off into a quest to win her back. Blechhh! I would love for that name to never cross Hope's lips again much less reconcile but I fear that will be what happens.

It doesn’t matter. This is on Hope not Liam. I can’t give Hope any pity or excuses. This is a soap so Thope will not live happily ever after. Isn’t that why Lope has been forever destroyed because happily ever after is boring?
