The kisses aren't the main issue, Hope! (General)

If her marriage comes to an end (and I hope it does, I still like Hope and Liam, but no longer Lope), it won't be because she kissed Thomas twice in Italy! She should not beg or apoligize for something she clearly wanted to do for a long time.

The fact that she can feel love, lust (or whatever feeling) for a guy who tried to assassinate her husband and robbed him of his baby daughter for months... THAT'S the main issue. THAT, her lies, her tendency to blame Briam for her feelings, and her lack of reaction when she realized what was happening. That's what ruined her marriage, not the kisses... From the day she fell on the couch with Thomas and began daydreaming about him, she should have lessened her interactions with him. Nobody should spend 12 hours a day with someone she views when she makes love with her husband. Common sense! Run away from the danger and try to repair what's wrong. Hope didn't do that.

Hope should think about her own reaction if she found out Liam was fantasizing and was falling for a woman who is like a raging psychopath like Thomas... someone who tried to kill her or members of her family in cold blood. Someone like Sheila Carter or Quinn Fuller, for instance. Would she be able to stay with him if Liam was in love with a dangerous serial attempted killer? Even if Liam is willing to forgive and forget and move on, it isn't gonna fix anything. It will make things worse. For months, Hope fantasized about Liam's worst ennemy while she was in bed with him! For months, he suspected Hope had feelings for that monster and she repeatedly lied. For years, she has defended this creep and put him above her own marriage. Some things can't be fixed, not even for the most understanding, open-minded people!

Apparently Liam himself forgave that when he asked Thomas to take care of Hope and Beth when he thought he would be in prison, so I am not following the issue here. Liam has cheated. Liam has lied. Liam has kept secrets.

Hope already experienced that when she watched Liam repeatedly cheat on her and marry the woman who bullied and terrorized her with Bill’s help.
Hope learned a lot from Liam.

Hope does not get a free pass card to use and abuse anyone she wants including Liam because of things from the past.
