If Hope is pregnant where does this go? (General)
If Hope had sex with Tom in Rome, and then she is pregnant and needs a test, how would this go down? You cannot legally divorce in California, if you are pregnant. So Lope would have to stay married until the baby is born. Then how would Tom feel about being a step-dad to 2 Lope kids, knowing that Hope is always going to love Liam? How would Liam feel having Tom as the step-dad to 2 of his kids? And what would make it more interesting is, Liam would be the child's legal father no matter if it was Tom's or not. If Tom's child, Liam would have to sign away his rights. Even with a paternity test, Liam would have to agree to let Tom adopt the child. What if that went down, and Liam said "nope, you are not going to be the babies legal father". LOL. That would mean that Liam would have more rights than Tom to his child, and Tom could not even pull some of the stunts he pulled using Douglas, to control Hope. Liam would have 50% custody of Tom's child and if something happened to Hope, he could cut Tom off completely from the child, if he chose to. California is one of the few states where biology does not trump marriage.
Now I think if Hope is going to be pregnant, Liam will have already gotten one of his quickie divorces before she finds out, but then I wonder, if they would even be legally divorced.

I don't think that Thope had sex, but if Hope would be pregnant with Thomas's baby then there would be an annullment like it usually happens on B&B. Liam annulled his marriage to Steffy when she was pregnant with his baby...

They’ve seemingly left so much out that I think we could get at least something revealed via flashback, but I don’t think Bell will do that to AN either. Thope may have had sex but she won’t be pregnant.

Yeah, and I believe it. It still is a time we saw a pregnancy story where the sex wasn't shown, though. And I think Caroline and Thomas, too.

Agreed on all counts. 
But that's why Hope should have been honest with her husband instead of defensive and why she should have nipped all this time she spent with Thomas in the butt.

I think much of the story changed with all the Hope backlash and the backlash of putting Thomas and Hope together and Bell is playing it very cautiously, very purposefully and very close to the chest. This would make all the wonkiness of the Rome scenes make more sense. In other words, they not only filmed more scenes in Rome but they will film more scenes in LA in order to protect the direction of the story. At this point, I don't think Bell has decided which direction he's going to go in. One direction of course would be a pregnancy. JMO

I don't see the issue here.
We already had Liam annulling his marriage to Steffy, when she was very pregnant with his child, soon later gave birth.
Legally Liam or Hope could either get a divorce or annulment. The only issue is if one of them keeps fighting it.
But why would Liam, the man who already had one divorce and 3 annulments, now fight for a marriage when his wife supposedly betrayed him?

But not being able to finalize a divorce doesn’t mean much. You can file and move on with your life you just can’t get married again until it's final.
And those things regarding paternity are not true. Yes Liam would be the legal father. He would go on the birth certificate but once the divorce is final it is not difficult to go to court and have that changed. Unless Liam could prove they planned to have the child together (for example Thomas was just the sperm donor and they would have to have paperwork stating that) he would have no standing.
